From Kia Boys to Kia Bots... like why in the hell would anyone ever buy one?
It's too bad we'll never see an upstart automaker build a modern vehicle without Internet access enabled by default. If so, I'd be a buyer. Optimal (to me) would be a modern version of the 1990's Toyota Pickup with the 22re engine. Million mile machines.

Yep, and COVID proved it for the entire country and that was with working infrastructure. I can only imagine what a countrywide event with no infra would look like. Madness.
Nope.
Because that would mean I had to listen to Taylor Swift.

Is there documentation on how to duplicate Nostrtalk.org? Would like to try to get folks from the Vegas Bitcoiners Meetup on Nostr.
Yep. Pair of Onnit's wooden Indian clubs. Love them for keeping my shoulders healthy.
I don't do that telegram shit.
"The economic bite of climate change in how much people make is already locked in at about $38 trillion a year by 2049, according to a study in the journal Nature by researchers at Germany’s Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. By 2100 the financial cost could hit twice what previous studies estimate."
Research comes from the same country that just went through a nuclear phase-out, which produces the greenest, densest energy on the planet. Since their buffoonery, they've turned around and had to spend billions building out coal and gas plants because they've had energy issues and rolling blackouts.
Make it make sense.
Either climate change is a problem or it isn't. If it is, nuclear is the best energy generation technology we've got. Yes, it's expensive to build out... but so is the $38 trillion number they threw around in this article.

I lift every day. It is the only method of stress relief that has ever worked for me. Also do it so I can help fight off the robot overlords when AI takes over. Maybe I've watched the Matrix one too many times... who knows?
Here is a post with some photos of my home gym. I also keep a membership at Planet Fitness because it's cheap, nationwide, and it has Hammer Strength isolation machines I simply don't have the room for in my garage.
If you're looking for a group to help keep your #fitness journey on track, check out the #nosfit group starting up.

Sometimes content from them get posted in feeds and when you click on the posts, it will ask you to join to see it.
You have to be a blue check to start one. Once you go into Communities, right next to the search icon, there is an icon with a + on it and that will launch the creation screen.
Definitely. I'd just imagine he is making 6 figures a month off those platforms. To be fair, there aren't mature tools to lift and shift over here.
Sure did my good man.
"Microsoft warns that ransomware threat actor Storm-0501 has recently switched tactics and now targets hybrid cloud environments, expanding its strategy to compromise all victim assets."
This is a pretty interesting development. Cloud implementations have been pretty immune to ransomware attacks. I'm so thankful I'm not doing sysadmin work any more -- the pay isn't worth the workload and stress.

Is Jordan Peterson on NOSTR? He should be.
He and his guest just described what NOSTR solves.
Someone with twitter reach out to this man.
I feel he could be good for NOSTR

He's already established on those legacy platforms and gets cut a monthly check from them. So I'm calling LARPing and performative outrage.
Been out of the nostr for a while and was surprised by the user stats at https://stats.nostr.band/ I know they are not 100% accurate but I think they carry some truth. Why do you think nostr daily active users are dwindling? I have my reasons but I'm curious to read other's opinions on the matter.
1. The same handful of people dominate all trending content and have pretty much forever.
2. Said people that could amplify new voices often don't.
3. The plebs below them mainly only comment on said trending people's content.
4. If you're new and get zero interaction, it's just easier to cut bait and go back to your established platforms.
5. The spam over the last several weeks made searching for content an absolute nightmare.
6. Discovery of content in general varies widely from client to client.
7. Moreover, the UX is pretty rough and users are spoiled by mature social media clients.
8. People really don't want to have to deal with relay management to get content.
9. The inability to edit/delete in most clients is a major issue.
10. Some people just don't want to put in the work to establish themselves here.
I'm sure I could come up with more but those are the quickies of the top of the head.
