Am I the only one finding these animations scary as hell?

In my home area it's more or less the price of a not-so-great 2 bedrooms flat. If you are lucky to find one in the first place. Still I wish one dsy we can movr back there, close to my family and friends.

Thanks, I guess I like your posts.

At the top should be Bitcoin users. I spend my sats almost every week and try always to pay with Bitcoin when possible. I just make sure I buy even more sats.

I use the extension on Lnbits so technically it's self hosted but I didn't try the LndHub fork made only for Boltcard. nostr:npub1ky4kxtyg0uxgw8g5p5mmedh8c8s6sqny6zmaaqj44gv4rk0plaus3m4fd2 try and let us know how it works.

I won't argue that we should not invest in curing cancer but with money at stake in big pharma the incentive are already high and investement is probably higher than climate change already but I didn't search a source to confirm that.

The truth is that curing cancer might save some more humans but what about all animals and plants we will let die if we continue to destroy our environnement like we do today. Earth will not burn into flame but living comfort will degrade for future generations of humans staying alive and all other living species that share our planet with us.

Great, waiting for it as on my GrapheneOS only Fennec run it and it's not fully working as marked not compatible.

Thinking about buying a hardware wallet to keep your precious Bitcoin safe?

Well, I bought 3 different hardware devices, and i'm going to go over some of the differences as well as pros/cons.

The 3 hardware devices i purchased were; Ledger, Trezor,Jade

I bought these 3, as they seem to be the most common, renown, and trusted. But there is tons more out there, I recommend doing your research and finding something that suits your needs and budget!

The 3 areas I will be going over with each device is, Security, User Friendliness,Aesthetic Appeal.

(Ledger Nano S)

For Security I will give this one a 5/5, I may not give the same ranking on some of Ledger's newer devices as there are concerns in the community that the Seed Phrase can be extracted from the secure element. All though it is also mentioned this is a service (A service where multiple 3rd parties hold your phrase and you can reaccess your crypto with KYC) that needs to be opted in to. The Ledger Nano S does not have the capability to do this.

For User Friendliness i give this one a 4/5, Setting it up and recovering was quite easy with this device, the display could be slightly larger, lucky for me i have good glasses!

For Aesthetic appeal I give this one a 4/5, solid design and looks inconspicuous like a standard USB drive.

(Trezor Model One)

For Security i will give this one a 4/5 as i have watched videos and read on forums on how the seed phrase can be extracted from the device, all through the device would have to be in possession of the attacker which means your seed phrase should still be safe from online attackers.

For User Friendliness i will give this one a 2/5, as i found it extremely difficult to recover with my seed phrase. You have to use the display on the hardware device, but then press scrambled buttons on your computer monitor to enter your seed phrase. The whole thing is weird and confusing to explain.

For Aesthetic appeal I give this one a 3/5, can't really embelish on this.

(Blockstream Jade)

For security I give this one a 4/5, as I do not like cameras built in, I put tape over it immediately. It's for another method of recovering your phrase, but I also don't like the idea of drawing a QR code, let alone relying on a QR Code, i much prefer the traditional , write your 24 words down method.

For User Friendliness i give this one a 5/5 , it was so fast to set up and recover that i barely remember the process.

For Aesthetic Appeal i give this one a 4/5, i feel this is because i didn't get one of the see through ones because they were sold out, but had i got one, it would of probably got a 5/5

#bitcoin #plebchain #grownostr #ledger #trezor #Jade

I did use Trezor One and Ledger S for a long time, personally I find the Trezor slightly more user friendly and I like the U2F without unlocking (like a Yubikey) and without an app to install. However both are not so great regarding multisign as you cannot properly check what you sre signing and where the change is going.

And big con for Ledger, it's not fully open source.

I also had a KeepKey, but it's a kind of clone of Trezor with less function and somewhat buggy on Linux.

Then I did a Specter DIY, I guess it's similsr to Jade, it's not storing keys, just signing with keys you give to it temporarly. So you need to store the seed in plain on a paper/metal plate in 12/24 words or in QR, possibly you can store it in plain on a uSD card, but I'm really not a fan of this. Beside that it's one of the more advanced Bitcoin signing device I tested, if you want to learn or do advance setup without zero third party trust, that's a must have.

Finally I got a BitBox2 Bitcoin only. For me it's the one I'm recommanding as the most secure and user friendly, even if I'm not a fan of the touch capacitive buttons on the sides of it.

Next I want to test is the Coldcard4. It looks like the merge of Specter advance festures and Bitbox2 user friendliness with the most advanced security. But I will tell it when I got one. Probably with a long awaited blog post.

It's only Electricity, many countries have poor electricity network and rely on burning coil and other more polluting energy for their need. The more a country is advanced and toward renewable energy, the more percentage of its energy comsuption will be electric vs non-renewable solutions. But I agree that the general trend is toward the wealtiest consuming more.

Best time was in 2010. Second best time is now.

Exactly what I was about to say. They are still pessimistic and we could reach way above that. Thus USD would also worth way less regarding to other assets as well.

It's a bit depressing to see these dates and think that we will be dead between the middle amd 3/4 of the list more or less.

What are the axis and units? Bitcoin compare to USD? All fiat? Stocks?

So it was in Sidney? Looks like there is one in Thailand, Poland and Netherlands too.

I don't go to such huge festival anymore but I will see Eric Prydz this summer 🥳. Looking for it since a long time.

History show that the bull run start before halving, the previous low is often 1 year before and all time high was 12 to 18 months after halving.

If someone need to invest in a project or housing, better target 9 to 12 months after halving to stay safe.

But we never know, let's see what will happen.

Sorry, I missed your reply. No if I come back it's still the same. Thr others not working are Alidade (both) amd outdoors. All other works.

I tried to use a VPN to connect from other country but it's not solving anything. If I'm the only one, ok but if others report the same I suggest to select OpenStreetMap tiles by default.

I only sell when it reach 10 times the all time high.
