I should do the same chart when my boss and customers complain that our product price is not showing productivity (price decrease each year due to improvement of manufactring and sourcing scaling).

Even at 300-400 I'm not even sure I would buy it and if I do get one for free, I would probably not use it more than a few times in the first 3 months then never touch it again.

This come from someone that is very excited by VR and bought an HTC Vive at release and a Vive Pro 2 later. Love it but barely play it now.

Also I would never buy an crap from Mr. MetaFacebookFuckerberg, not because of the hardware, which looks amazing, but because of the privacy nightmare that come with the software locked in their products.

I visited #gaming heaven this weekend, the Gameorama museum in Luzern #Switzerland. Everything is freeplay for a ~20$ entrance fee.

Some arcade were defective but overall it was still very nice and we see the love of the staff for these games.

It's by phases, at some age they never eat and 6 months to 1 yesr later they eat all day long. It will stabilize eventually.

In case anyone is still confused about nuts or what it means and why we always talk about it (me today haha), here is my know-nothing dummy explanation and why this is a big deal IMO:

Cashu is an ecash protocol(is this correct?) created by nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg

People are calling them nuts because cashews are nuts... get it?

The terminology is irrelevant. They can be called tokens, air, water, chicken teriyaki.. it really doesn't matter! What matter is that this is a Layer 3 payment system that transfers tokens at the speed of light (or so I think). Lightning being layer 2, and bitcoin being layer 1.

The reason why this is a significant development is because now everyone has a cashu address. Thanks to amazing work by the legendary nostr:npub1mhcr4j594hsrnen594d7700n2t03n8gdx83zhxzculk6sh9nhwlq7uc226 , if you go to npub.cash you can see that you already have an address to receive these layer 3 tokens, which just happen to be easily redeemable into lightning. This means that any new person who joins nostr automatically has (custodial) layer 3 payment access, which can swap into layer 2 and into layer 1 and into fiat if need be.

I don't know any of the underlying mechanics of this, I am not a genius like nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg and what I have described could be incorrect, but it sure feels like this is roughly how things work.

Nuts are custodial, meaning a mint is holding your balance and can look up your npub to see if you have some. Once called upon, these nuts can be sent to another nutter (cashu wallet) or directly to a lightning address! This interoperability makes everyone a layer 2 user. All we need is a clever UX toggle / button / terminology to make it really obvious.

IF this were to be turned into a library that devs could include in their client code and "it just works", THEN it could be a game changer! No more directing people on how to get a wallet right as they join. They can experience the magic of bitcoin indirectly via layer 3 > layer 2 transfer all without knowing anything (as long as they can get on nostr).

In practice, this means anyone joining an audio nest, a zapstream, a flare.pub can automatically get paid. Yes, it's just tokens, and yes it's centralized and custodial, BUT, they see the value instantly and are only a click away from digging deeper. It's a STEPPING STONE that makes it significantly easier to get onboarded into the new paradigm.

I have not been this excited since the discovery of nostr itself! If I'm mistaken somehow, or don't understand things correctly, please let me know and forgive my dumbass 🤣 And if this means what I think it means, then let's make magic happen!

It is kind of the ln tips bot of Nostr, except you don't even need to sign up in the first place.

Looks nice, even better than conditional time locked multi sign like Liana or MyCitadel are offering. However it's still not implemented yet, so multisign stays the only solution for safer setup.

Yes you didn't open to my node.

I think they will break the record of people joining beta just to secure a username.

However I'm not sure how this number works. If I reserve username.01 will someone else be able to het username.02? Or the username is only mine and the number is only needed to fight spam as mentionned?

Bitcoin and Nostr solves this.

But then would you be able to communicate with Signal user on the official server? I think they remove federation a long time ago, not sure of they are open to it again now.

C4 makes you think it is, to sell their certificate (even if the price is quite reasonnable I must admit).

Would be also curious to see if any serious Bitcoin startup consider it as a real plus vs proven experience like: Bitcoin full node and Lighning node runner, Multisign experience, Bitcoin core CLI experience...

Way too much black, gray and white. Red should be the default color without extra cost, gray should be the most expensive option.

I was thinking the same but it's the amount collected by the project so far 😆

Deal done, but I forgot your fees where so high, the amount that we will get after Peach fees and network fees (at least an estimation) should be clearly written before accepting the offer.

Ok I see now, my amount was too low. Thanks!

Using the latest version from Play Store 0.4.4 but the app tell me there is a new one. If I try to update with the apk from thr website it fails to install.

Thanks for the link even if it's on X. I really hate thread on X 🤮 at least it reminds me why I stopped using X.

Let me know when it brakes the 69k$ resistance.
