For 39.99 per month you get free unlimited data.

Same shit, 9 people on 10 still buy it.

It's not good but not so bad either.

Just look at Bitcoiners in meetup and conference, most of them don't even pay with Bitcoin and 9 on 10 that does are using a custodial wallet. It's sad but let's face it.

Now I just ask if they need it, most of the time they don't. But l'm at a point where I just tell my expected salary and discussion stop right there 99% of the time, so I go straight to the point, unless I really, really want the job, then I do my best letter and postpone the salary discussion as much as possible, but this is like 1 time on 20 or 50 job ads maybe.

It doesn't people are using it later on, it's just an easy, fast, maintenance-free solution to quickly collect sats until it's moved somewhere else. Some people just take longer than other to move it out.

My handwritting looks like shit... thanks for cheering me up!

Real Estate is not exacly infinite, especially not where people want to live.

Sure everyone is free to go live in the middle of a desert, in antartica or on Mars, but nobody want.

Yes same for me, I tried NWC with LNbits but I could not zap everyone, especially no one from Primal, then I tried to connect Alby, which mostly work but sometimes fails. Tips the devs never worked.

Grayscale got the ETH ticker, and not for their spot ETH ETF but for a mini ETF fund (what ever it means). If it was not already confusing enough, SEC (or whoever approved this) added another stone to the general confusion.

I also so bet that the ETH ETF with the ETH ticker will not be one share = 1 ETH, like none of the BTC ETF are, so you could end up finding one price for ETH, the ETF, and another for ETH, the token on the Ethereum blockchain.

That's really some high level shitcointry going on here.

#ETH #ETF

That's exactly the issue, and if you do smart contract, you get liquidated the second you are undercollaterized, plus you need to use other blockchain, no real bitcoins.

Maybe we can imagine a kind of multisign wallet with miniscript, both party must sign and agree to renew before every year (limitation of miniscript, you cannot make it longer yet), then we could imagine the signature scheme change for 2 of 3, with the third one being a trust external third party, like a lawyer, then after again some time additional backup thirs party could be added to prevent anyone from losing access in case one party + third party loose their keys.

But until we can do that, you are right, spending your BTC might be the only way for a large expense like housing.

Apparently your are still alive, I hope you didn't forgot Junior Bday.

Exactly, so we can hope for 150-300% up this time. Still good but not as parabolic/to the moon as people hope/expect for from Bitcoin. We will see how it turns out.

You still have nostr:nprofile1qqs2gazhwghppw36yu0muuzqykdrcndzeafml50pnqfcy9xjx5rylsspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsn5qnu7 sir.

Forget about bank accounts options (like Pocketbitcoin and Relai) that provide solutions for EU residents as well. They are force to apply through new MICA law and therefore KYC every user.

I know Peach Bitcoin very well but fees are too high in the end, including the premium that most seller are asking for and I prefer Lightning over on-chain for privacy and lower fees.

Robotsats is my favorite now, fee are slightly better and I can use Lightning, as well as self host it but whenever it's Peach or Robotsats I'm always scared that I get my bank account flagged or blocked because I transacted with someone that banks decide suddenly to not like. Especially with Revolut as I still need it for traveling as my banks have outragous fees and it's the main option for Sepa instant in EUR and direct payment using Revolut user name.

Ok, I zap you 21sats. Now stop begging for zap and start posting better content.

That's a good thing, but not really new, software made by our governement was already open source in most cases (voting app, covid app 🤮, tax app,...) but don't get missleading, they still massively use closed source for everything not in house developped.

This year, in our local school, they give every kids from 8 year old an iPad tight to an AppleID and Microsoft account. And the first computer class are still on iOS or Windows, teaching kids to use Microsoft Office and browse web with Chrome 🤮🤮🤮.

We still have a long way to go.

Lol, government could make everyone a billionaire tomorrow, but most people would be disapointed of the result.

Hi Joe! I use Tubular (NewPipe) to follow you, so it's not counting as subscriber as it use the RSS feed (sorry), so my guess is that many Bitcoiners use the same or FreeTube, Invidious or just any RSS reader, which mean subscribers, especially for Bitcoin or privacy related channel, is certainly under estimated.

You have almost 2000 follers on Nostr, which also doesn't mean much depending on the relay used, but still it shows the strong community on Nostr, you should focus on here to grow your audience.
