The plug shape is maybe universal but you have dozens if not hubdred of protocols to charge and transfer data/video using USB-C. PD (5V, 9V, 12V, 20V), PD adaptative, QC (1,2.0, 3.0,...), Thunderbolt 2, 3, 4, USB2, 3, 3.1, Gen2x... and much much more.

With USB-C you know you can always plug it but you never know what will work or not.

Just tested Alby, it works great but the magic hides the truth. It must use an external server to work as well, NWC use alby servers as relay and when there is an external connection I'm wondering what can be accessed externally.

I was litteraly thinking that 1 year before dicovering Bitcoin and not even 1 year after starting my first job out of University.

At the time I thought: Why bleed my poor salary now (which was much lower than expected for what my school was promising to me) to put it on a saving account that give me peanuts of interest (later even negative interest) or blocking it on a retirement plan to only get it back in 30-40 years when this money will have lost all its value. Also I was thinking that hopefully I would get much more money by then as I would progress in my career and anything I could have saved so far would be a lot missed early in my life and meaningless later when I could dispose of the money finally.

I spend all my money traveling and enjoying life, I have no regrets. In the meantime I discovered and learned about Bitcoin, soon I found back hope and was able to save money finally while knowing that every sacrifice I do in the present, will be rewarded multiple time in the future (as it should be) and not the other way arround.

I also realized that my University (and the society) was lying to me about the value of my degree, that fiat job will almost never make you rich and if it does it's only at the cost of sacrifying all your life and integrity which might not be worth it in the end.
