Hard to tell from the angle. Is there a hood over the eyes like in this pic? In most cases I can tell straight away from a common watersnake and a cotton mouth but in this case I just can't. Maybe Jack can tell...https://www.critterriddertx.com/texas-water-moccasin/

Dick is still kicking and will NEVER sell out as long as he is alive. I went to school with one of the daughters (Debby) she and three sisters basically run the company today. I doubt that generation will sell out either.

Dick is the salt of the earth, met him a time or two in high school. A good friend visited the brewery a few years back. He told Dick about me, Dick went and got a metal Yuengling sign from the gift shop, signed it and gave it to my friend to bring to me.

He is an incredibly honorable man from an honorable family. People think he inherited the brewery, he didn't. It was on the verge of failing in the 80s but he believed in it and approached his dad with a plan. The old man was tired, said, go to the bank and get a loan and buy it from me. Dick borrowed 4 million dollars, took all the risk on his shoulders and made Yuengling into a billion dollar company in 15 years.

He is getting older now but 5 years back was still the guy that turned on and off the lights at the PA brewery HQ every day. And we are talking a billionaire CEO that when a stranger (my friend) visited the brewery and asked, "does Dick still come into the office" the response was let me go get him. He came out and spoke to my buddy for almost an hour. Then gave him the sign for me. I had not spoken to the man in about 30 years at that point and was a teenager when I did. I think that says it all.

Where else does a person walk into a multibillion dollar company, ask about the CEO and simply be told, wait I will go get him?

While I don't rah rah Trump, Dick also donated to the Trump campaign in 2016 and when the woke came after him, his entire response was, "people that drink a beer like Yuengling don't care, so why should I"?

"The Best Way to Boycott Bud Light is with a Yuengling Flight"

Thanks for that! Not many beers I enjoy anymore, but Yuengling is one of the. Especially the October fest when it come out. Dick sounds a lot like Mr Amatuzio who founded AMSOIL. He went into the office everyday in into his 90's. That generation is full of amazing people! Thanks for sharing

If you think about it, leading up to every election what you really have is the following-

Democrats- โ€œWe want more socialism!โ€

Republicans- โ€œWe want socialism, but less socialism than the Democrats!โ€

This has really been the case going back to the mid 1930s.

Iโ€™m certain the next election will change this though.

It seems about as much work keeping stainless as cast iron. We have both, and I have to periodically use bar keepers friend to the stainless, I never have to do more than a scub under hot water and a paper towel rinse on the cast iron. Cast iron and stainless have different uses imo. The are both equally needed in the kitchen....

Hanging out at Soe Tactical with a chainsaw demonstration course. Thanks to Chris Watkins for the information

Yuengling?

D. G. Yuengling & Son, established in 1829, is the oldest operating brewing company in the United States. In 2018, by volume of sales, it was the largest craft brewery, sixth largest overall brewery and largest wholly American-owned brewery in the United States.[1][2] Its headquarters are in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.[3] In 2015, Yuengling produced about 2.9 million barrels, operating two Pennsylvania facilities and a brewery in Tampa, Florida.
