TLDR is in the title really. Small chunks to read. Cool website design.

As for the second part, I’m of the opinion that there is a huge space for improvement with existing bitcoin protocol as is that can help scale us wel beyond where we’re at. On mobile but will try to remember to elaborate some other time at a proper keyboard.

Turns out. Yup. My father is probably alive today because of Ayurveda. He suffered a massive heart attack but had been doing all this “stuff” that I never really understood.

TIL it was Ayurveda.

Hi Gary. In Ayurveda (ancient system of medicine from India), they recommend small quantities of turmeric be added to food daily. Like a pinch at each meal.

This is easy to do if you make any sort of Indian curry dishes. I also have added it to a spice blend (internet search "Ras al hanout" - spice blend of the house for some ideas) and sprinkle on fish or poultry, or use as a dry rub... if you like warm milk, then you can make turmeric milk (add some spices like fresh grated ginger, cinnamon and cardamom) and sweeten with honey or maple syrup. Take in the afternoon or evening.

A little goes a long way, especially if you combine with crushed black pepper (black pepper multiplies the bioavailability) and with fat (like ghee, olive oil, full fat milk, etc) as this will enhances absorption directly into the bloodstream since curcumin (active ingredient in turmeric) is fat soluble.

Ayurveda says that turmeric is heating and drying. This is partially why it has such great results as an anti-inflammatory.... it burns toxins that cause inflammation and drying up excess dampness. Similarly why it is considered anti-cancerous (burns up cancer cells)....

My sister didn’t call it turmeric milk but she made a blend similar to what you described and shared some with me yesterday. Was delicious!

That prompted my turmeric in the coffee this morning.
