Agreed. I tried to tail Jack and use that mode for months but I found the low engagement to feel alienating. Major clients would have to disable likes for everyone for it to be impactful
You kind of have an unfair advantage. So far my biggest zap was 100 sats. The biggest zap I received was 10k from Blockstream.

Only Zaps means you disable likes and only view zaps as your form of engagement
Zaps are alive and well, but a lot of people who used Only Zaps went back to using likes too.
i think that’s okay tbh. not everyone is able to supply zaps everyday, and want to support! Do it when you can, and don’t feel bad if you can’t.
I agree. I personally just like it because it’s an option, and it highlights how much optionality you have when using Nostr. Users can truly control how they experience social media and that’s exciting for me.

Could it be due to Apple making it harder for nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 users? I cannot get my wallet added back after the App Store showdown and can’t zap anyone. Haven’t had time to investigate who else is having the issues though so could be just me.
