This is the ev my wife was talking about.

Do you need 7 seats? We got the EV6 GT Line RWD (RWD goes further off one charge and has more frunk space than AWD). Even with a few extras it came under the luxury vehicle tax price. On a novated lease we don't pay the $7K in GST either.
The markets should have been left alone to drive it. There would be many less EVs in the world still if governments weren't incentivising and pushing them. It's not the governments job to push that on everyone. It used to annoy me too and still does to an extent, we just decided we could profit from it while denying the government income revenue.
Hubby does this too.. But once the battery goes we replace the whole thing if we can't replace just the battery.
They are interesting for sure. A very different driving experience. I'm still getting used to all the new car "safety" stuff. We can do it because we have solar panels and live in the city. There's plenty of places it wouldn't work and lots of people it wouldn't work for. If it weren't for the investment opportunity it presents we wouldn't have bought it.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.. Could have been way better if it followed the book.
I afirm the book of Acts... I have a niggling suspicion that elsewhere in the NT I could find something....
Over 100K?! We bought a KIA EV last week, was only about 80K and the government will pay for about half of it over the next three years because it's salary sacrifice value is 100% because it's an EV. But yeah, we're not in it because we believe we'll save baby polar bears 🤣😅 We're in it because unless the regulatory environment changes, we can probably sell it in three years for more than we pay for it after government write off's 😏 Hubby has been paying enough in taxes to the Aus government for long enough that we don't even feel bad.
Looks like the friendliest predator I ever saw, besides perhaps my two catstrs.
I did in the past, but I'm terrible with flashcards in general and there was nothing it could do about that so it didn't really work for me.
Me too.. I always try to compliment anyone, but rarely on looks, unless they've made a superb fashion choice for them. I lavish praise on outstanding skills, knowledge or good deeds or other non-looks related things mostly.
Simplex auto correct is so messy!
I don't have kids but I can imagine this to be true. I've found happiness in pursuit of other meaningful responsibilities. Though to be fair, I'm free to pursue them instead of worrying about food/shelter and other personal needs, so in some senses I'm quite "free".
Actually, I had it in my head that I would buy very nice gifts for my children on their birthday to truly celebrate them, but tiny meaningless things for Christmas so they can concentrate on the reason for the season. To be fair, mine would have enough aunts and uncles that they won't miss out.
My dad was always honest. He said he was too selfish to let someone else take credit for what he bought me and that some parents lie to their kids about Santa. I was always gonna say something similar. But I would add to let the other school children believe the lie if the meet some who do, coz at nine I tried to tell my friend that her dad lied to her and there was no Santa, and that went over about as well as you can imagine. 😅🤣
Merry Christmas from Toby

I can't remember the last few steps any more but when I was younger my best timed 3x3 Rubik's cube solving was about 3 minutes, which was one of the slower records in my house... My best for a 5x5 was nine minutes though, which held our house record, mostly because the others didn't want to put the time in to master it.
I'm at the other end of that here... The mini skirts didn't go extinct 😔 My eyes have seen terrible terrible things 🫠
Seeing the exact same memes and gifs got boring. I like the idea of themes and/or an emphasis on fresh content.
An interesting list of emotions to pick up on, maybe it's a manly list even, like those things matter more to you.. Fear and confusion are easy for me too... I always know when someone wants something from me long before they say anything. Also, being closed to new ideas is a personality trait 1 that I pick up on often. It's where people sit on the Openness - Closed spectrum... Maybe I'm just a purveyor of bad ideas, but being unwilling or unable to discuss new concepts makes people boring. Sadly, too many people are boring or unwilling to rock the boat. Give me a good mental work out any day.
