They have everything they could ever want. They’re as close as you can get to “pure bliss”, but are they happy? A ton of them end up addicted. Hedonic adjustment is a real bitch and you end up throwing everything away to chase pleasure. The more you indulge, the more you need to get the same baseline of pleasure.
Humans aren’t meant to live without hardships. The transhumanists just can’t accept that reality.

I tend to prefer Debian based. Right now, because of work I run Kali everyday, but I recently started playing with Parrot. I’ve used Ubuntu a lot in the past, but I’m not as happy with it as I used to be.
I moved to Windows 11 earlier this year so I could do some pc gaming. Huge mistake. Currently starting the process of going full Linux for everything.
Gaming was just wasting my time anyway…

I don’t believe it’s an effective option. But I’m by no means a perfect parent, so try not to judge unless it’s obviously over the line. I think it’s just too easy to get carried away or hurt your relationship with your kid.
However, I firmly believe every teenage boy needs at least one moment where their father has to physically remind them who’s in charge. I once thought I was bigger and badder than my dad. He calmly and quickly proved me wrong by picking me up by the shirt, and I’m not a small guy. Put me right in place 🤣
