Mapping your bone structure, it assigns a mathematical token. Subsequent scans either confirm yes same token, or not same token.  Meaning it’s impossible to reverse engineer someone’s face from the data stored within the secure element.

Foundation Passport by far.
Hits all the highlights for me. Airgapped, qr code and sd card signing, rechargeable standard Nokia battery (port is power only), open source top to bottom, and a really great classic design.
Used almost all of them at this point cause I’m a bit of a hardware nerd. I really love Foundation’s work, they have that excellent balance of advanced features and still easy enough for Mom and Dad.
