Not a Christian more of a transcendental Buddhist. But I have a strong relationship with Jesus through his compassion. The way I think about it is, Jesus is the embodiment of compassion you feel toward everyone else. A good thought experiment is trying to treat everyone you meet as if they were Jesus in disguise. An outpouring of compassion regardless of how they treat you is how he lived his life. Treated everyone he met with that compassion even though they weren't him but he treated them as if they were. Anyway, that's my two sats.
I don't mean to invalidate anecdotes. I also got married before my timeline as well. It is more of a plan for success than and ironclad true or false filter. My struggles now are the things I put to the side to pursue my family too early.
Not out, but definitely closer. Having less mass to move incentivizes more movement. Trying to move my 375lb ass was just not gonna happen. Got to 280lbs with diet alone. 265lbs with slightly more movement. About to start lifting. It's all about the increments.
I agree with the second half but for a different rationale.
Men should spend their 20's and early 30's amassing land(building a house on that land), a way to produce food, a way to gather water, and a way to produce energy. Making yourself into the man your ambition drives you to be. THEN you can create a family to sustain the legacy you have built.
Trying to build a family earlier will curtail your ambition in a effort to make you family comfortable. You won't take risks because it is no longer just your life that depends on your efforts but your wife and children.
If you build your family later your ambition will mean more to you than they do and your matriage will fall apart and your children will resent you.
Late 30's with an active man will be someone that a good woman will want to build a family with.
I don’t see Nostr as analagous to Bitcoin. It’s intersecting and it might have taken enough Bitcoin adoption to make us realize why Nostr is worth building.
If i really had to answer any of those questions, my answer to all of them would be nostr:npub1yx6pjypd4r7qh2gysjhvjd9l2km6hnm4amdnjyjw3467fy05rf0qfp7kza
Everything is connected. Not everything is an analogy but simply a fractal of another system.
What is the 58k for Nostr?
What is our HFSP?

What are your hard-hitting questions about the Social Network Freedom Protocol?
I hate that I logged into Twitter to read that thread. Defiant incorrectness is a hallmark of that platform.
Get your hands off of my Hemipenis!!! This one's got me by the Hemipenis, people! That's a nice shell lock there, sir. I see you know your Oogway Kung fu well. THIS IS... GALAPAGOS MANIFEST!
It was always a lie. The ease was just lulling you into giving away your data. Now even your refrigerator has an agenda...
I should really proofread. *Have my main
*Local backup.
Either way the point was I trust my machine with my family member more than I trust cloudflare or google.
That IS the backup. I gave my main PC and web server at my house. All backups are pointed to the mini PC. I have a cal backup on site then the redundant backup off site at a family member's house. (Different state entirely). You could theoretically backup the backup to a cloud service but I don't trust them nor do I want the process to take a day, like you said.
I have bought a sub 25watt mini PC and have used something like StartOS to use the FTP over TOR. Plus you could run your own Private Nostr Relay, vaultwarden for password management, and a personal Comms server. You hook it up at a family member's house and put it in a closet with a big sticker that says "Before unplugging talk to nostr:npub1wnlu28xrq9gv77dkevck6ws4euej4v568rlvn66gf2c428tdrptqq3n3wr "
That's worked pretty well so far.
Hello World. I am using the Voyage implementation of Nostr. it really takes away a lot of my bias toward skipping over Nyms I might dismiss as generally boring. I am pleasantly surprised when I go to interact with a note and find out the author isn't who I thought it was. a big thanks to npub1useke4f9maul5nf67dj0m9sq6jcsmnjzzk4ycvldwl4qss35fvgqjdk5ks
for making it. Very cool implementation!
I am fairly certain you are routing your invoices along this path: Recipient-> Nostr relay-> getalby.com-> LNBits web server-> you LN node. I don't think LN bits can natively talk to a Nostr relay unless you paste that Gian LNURL into something like Amethyst. (most Nostr cloents have depricated LNURL for Lightning addresses). A lightning address needs a web server and a domain to host your invoice received data.
if you don't trust any company you must host your own domain. Have some sort of web server on 24/7. use a program like Zaplocker to catch invoices and forward them to your Lightning node. and connect that to your LND instance.
NWC and LND hub seem to be the most open and free software that does this but I understand the apprehension.
Why are statists like this tho?
Doesn't GiTea solve this problem? I guess not if you can't host your own code or cloud host it. but the github framework is out there.
I don't want to turn this into a huge chain of nuh-uh, yuh-huh sessions(like I see with the more tenacious of your commentors). So I will posit a few questions to which I don't intend to ask follow-ups.
The "Punishment System" is present all throughout Bitcoin. I see it more as a feature than a workaround. That said, wanting rapidity is the goal of lightning not the consequentially low fees. How does CTV incentivize honest collaborative behavior if you are trading coupons off chain non-interactively?
Secondly I'm guessing multiparty ownership of a single UTXO would be a function of if-else statements if Key [1] does action, then Key [2] is output upon resolve condition and so on. The question is what if distribution contitions are so verbose that A) it bloats the timechain with "arbitrary" data or B) that spend conditions specified SEEM like they will send to Key[2] but really the secondary and tertiary conditions could be so complex that it does?
I understand the benefits of a Lightning pool with implications of payroll. The issue I see arising is to make that UTXO worth the CTV Pool, you would have a very large honey pot that if you could satisfy conditions of, you'd get a large chunk of quiche. How, without a punishment system does one monitor millions of outputs for closure?
This is my absolute ignorance here (saved the best for last) How does one party close a channel and get final settlement in a CTV pool situation? How does one get their on-chain asset OUT of the coupon layer if all settlement conditions on the template haven't been fulfilled?
Thanks for your time and contributions of value to the Network of Freedom.
