I am more optimistic. I think it is a matter of the lone wolves changing priorities. It is more dangerous to stand boldly among scared sheep walk confidently through them, but we must. Because they will never follow a man building a nice little fortress around himself.

The sheep don't need to know why sovereignty matters, they will just do it because you are strong and confident and proclaim loudly that "I will not be the pawn of another man."

When the sheep's current shepherd makes a false claim about how you are dangerous to the sheep show them your good deeds. They do not start to follow you because you convinced them. They start to follow you because their old shepherd is now not as confident as you are.

They follow your confidence as you lambast the old shepherd for not respecting your liberty. Again, it is not your words that sway the sheep but the old shepherd's meekness before the crowd you lead.

These sheep follow you and yours up until you show them the new way, the free way, the righteous way. Where men are sole owners of their rightful property and the stewards of their own destiny. The sheep would have been scared of this moments ago before you showed them the path. But now that the path lays before them it is only natural that the momentum of the liberty you walk with carries them to freedom as well.

But that's just my two sats.

Zero-drop, wide toe-box shoes. I have been wearing them for about 6 years now and my feet are stronger than ever. Barefoot and people stare. But these babies make all that thick sole, lifted heel, nonsense seem ridiculous .

CPAB still bullish, still building the community in 2025!

If I have no channel liquidity to receive I can shuffle things around within 24 hours instead of noticing too late for a bigger zap. And no one wants to go asking for someone's generosity twice.

I have all zaps sent through a Zeus implemented Olympus channel that uses a zaplocker. It's an "always on" server (so, I don't have to run one) that basically holds my zaps in escrow for me and I have to accept them within 24 hours or they get returned to sender.

You misunderstand. Lightning wallet and Implementation makers are being attacked not lightning itself. If these people are harrassed no one will want to make Lightning easier, less cumbersome, fluid or dynamic. You'll be stuck with bare metal and CLI implementations which are difficult for the average user.

Dude, you did like 3 times. I got 3 attempts for 69, I just have a buffer to accept zaps. I'll accept 1 of them for the effort but in 24 hours the others will expire.

It is simply memory and storage allocation as well as most people preferring to turn off, suspend or hibernate their PCs over night. You don't NEED a home server for DNS, PiHole, Jellyfin, or Data storage either but always on is better for those applied services.

Yep, still have a dick and balls. Thanks for the reminder. It's been about 4 minutes since I last checked.

What a sly way to test if Twitter's algorithm was applied to Nostr, Corn. Tricking people into thinking you were being negative to pull out the Elon bots from hiding!

Just not true. Rights are just ideals based on physical reality. They have nothing to do with laws or institutions. Read about natural rights. The very fact you impose your right to write a block is a property right.

Yes and "too much" is a measure of degrees. Economics (something that effects everyone) is an integral part of a crypto asset. So, to say that these particular cypherpunks are too focused on one thing is not to say they shouldn't be focused at all on it. As well that they should focus on other important things like economics.

The analogy would be like "That football player is too focused on strength and cardio training and not enough on eating." Do you see how ALTHOUGH being focused on strength and cardio IS THE basis of football. Eating is very important to their success as well?

It's called property rights. If you mine a block you can write what transactions you want.

I have not used a single custodial or LSP service since I started using LN. Its doesn't rely on LSPs. It relies on people creating a local outward network web. Central hubs don't lend themselves to routing efficiency due to sheer liquidity constraints.
