your opinion is also valid, i just couldn’t agree on the irrelevant part – especially on the relationship/psychological aspects
(like “this poet had a strict mother and that’s why his opinion on women both in real life and in his books was like that” or “this author lived in middle class family yet in the poor neighbourhood so characters of this books are usually in poverty but still have some morals” and so on)
for me it’s more interesting to get this part by acting like a detective on the scene and later check if my assumptions were correct
it implies that with more traffic nostr would loose its charm – i don’t believe that.
i see friendliness as a result of freedom – less controlled you are, less aggressive and less intense discussion become 🧐
haha, i think they already do!
still remember how my dad gifted me (about 12yo) a casio watch which showed the moon phase and i found out i have the worst sleep on the new moon
(no, seriously, it’s not self-persuasive, i’ve checked)
like the way it’s everything in one place? i see
i don’t mind historical houses type of museums – there are some in my town. each tells a story of a writer or poet (there were a lot of them in this region for some reason), the way this person was raised, what affected on the way they became whoever they become, and so on
are this kind of museums are also not great in your opinion?
i fully agree!
i also think even the smallest step towards the people is important and valuable. as we say in Russia, water wears away the stone 💜
libraries for sure – old books smell like rotten trees to me!
but what’s wrong with museums?
so true! i blame the modernity on how alienated from nature people are 🤕 yet we can’t deny how connected (even depended) we are – just as a part of it.
and re-building this relationship with nature is a wise thing to do
had to google, turns out my mum is secretly a chef who can cook anything around the world 😤 if i’m not mistaken she added condensed milk as well
mine favourite is napoleon cake tho
true, even a kitchen knife can serve like a weapon besides its actual purpose
did you watch the whole interview? do you recommend it? would like to watch but it’s too hard for me to concentrate on long monotonous content 🤕
i know, communication *can* be hard, but doesn’t your statement somewhat dehumanise people?
there’re reasons they act this way (mostly in how cruel and cynical the world around is)
i found it to be the responsibility of enlightened people to spread the new thoughts and ideas in the most gentle (yet sincere) way possible 🤔
for some reason it reminds me of the times i used to smoke
and to be honest i won’t come back just because rn i’m mad this scent not venting already
i was so hyped about new aromacones but turned out i hate jasmine scent 🫠
gm 💜
the weekend was not was on me,
but i have big hopes for today
how is your day? did i missed something?
came home from work feeling like a zombie, had to stay in the cold shower for half an hour
no wonder they used it in psych wards 🥴
i was about 12 then my father shared some CDs with me, and besides whatever he was listening to in the 90s (like nirvana, rhcp, smashing pumpkins), he also had the cure’s latest album “4:13 Dream” and a compilation album “Galore” – that’s how i was introduced to their music!
ppl rarely mention “4:13 Dream” but this album was so influential on me – the haunting yet dreamy sound took me away from the horrifying reality to some imaginary world of mine
and later, a few years passed and i found out my grandfather also has some the cure cassette tapes – it was “The Top” and “Kiss me, kiss me, kiss me” – ngl i was blown away
but since i was so desperate to conform i didn’t share those tastes of mine with my friends and how shocked i was then in high school my friend introduced me to post-punk music and i met another side of The Cure which i also deeply love
so cool! i also noticed how The Cure songs are so connected/influenced by existentialist books (love them as well) 💜
which is extremely stupid.
like i can’t send my money to foreign company and supposed to use russian alternatives (like yandex music) and therefore making them richer – and i thought the idea of sanctions is for making it harder for the country they put on 🧐
