Is there some advantage to storing the whole blockchain vs pruning?
I don't think so because you can just prune all the way down to 1gb.
My guess is it has something to do with Bitcoin Knots vs Bitcoin Core nodes.
I don't even like the guy. But this is predictable as can be. These people are angry. They were already angry before this, for many many reasons. The only reason they haven't turned violent is because they believe the system can be saved. For many, Trump is their only hope for a peaceful resolution to their grievances. His assassination would mean for them that peaceful solutions are impossible. It would ultimately mean the destruction of the whole system.
If he were killed, there would be instant civil war. Not even a question about that. A proportionate response would be to kill every single Democrat in DC and then start expanding.
"Wealmostgothim" you almost got your whole family killed is what you got, you incredible dumbass. If Americans aren't going to do things peacefully, it's sure not going to work out well for the people who think "we almost got him".
I read once that there are more possible Bitcoin addresses than there are atoms in the universe. I'm not quite sure if that's true, but it gets the point across. The signature is probably unique enough to describe any 3d point, that's how descriptive it is. The odds of generating the same address twice are essentially none.
Probably just some lunatic that drank the legacy media's juice, or a redditor. If they would have been a professional hitman, they wouldn't have missed, or kept firing 13x.
I'll bet you 100 sats he does.
Since the start of Bitcoin people have been saying it should have been anonymous. Then they made Monero for that. But actually I like the way it is. I like that everyone just watched the German government liquidate their assets in real time. We all just watched that happen.
Compare that to the fiat system. When's the last time anyone was able to audit the Federal Reserve?
This transparency is good.
Yeah, 1 BTC = 100,000,000 sats.
Or, 0.00000001 BTC = 1 sat.
I think the world has largely moved beyond whole BTC and we should just start saying "1,000 sats" or whatever.
It's a little bit over 1 Satoshi. I don't know how it's dividing it further than that. How are you mining it?
Okay but don't forget to also make babies, or else your generational wealth is just regular wealth.
It doesn't need Trump, but every little bit helps, and he's welcome to become a Bitcoiner just like everybody else.
Imagine a penny has the purchasing power of $1.50 just by stopping central banks stealing from everyone. That's the world we're headed toward.
The central banks ARE the parasite caste. What else can it be called to create infinite "money" out of thin air, and loan it at interest?
In the long term everything trends toward zero vs #Bitcoin. This is our bank now guys.

I bought as much as I could and I'm glad for the cheap sats, but I'm sad for the German people. They need a government that doesn't hate them.
I'm pretty sure if you threw off all restrictions you would be free, actually.
And selectively submitting to more preferable restrictions is of no value at all.
American here. I had a similar experience with the only black lady that I've ever hired. Used my credit card to make a bunch of fraudulent purchases.
She's the only employee I've ever hired who did anything like that, even though I was good to her and treated her more than fairly.
Just hang on a second we're still fleecing Germany for their Bitcoin.
