A Libertarian lover of our Constitution and a citizen looking for ways out of the monitored society. Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged is a must read.. Everything is about the money. What is the root of money?

Ya know, The Sheep, some call'em Normies, these people who don't see, are like a benign organism just floating around that those who move with purpose have to navigate around. Good thing is, once in awhile there's a breakout of thought & the Sheep population shrinks. As we move forward now, without deeply thinking why, these Sheep people will start moving towards Bitcoin & Gold.  It's their survival instinct. They see their paper money buying less and less stuff. They'll start to understand why. And Gold with Bitcoin will become the currencies of choice when contracts are signed.

I'd add to your comment here. "backed by government bailouts, funded by a Private Corporation, The FED, creating out of thin air, the paper money that is destroying the buying power of the American's wealth by the day. Part of the plan to transition to something more sinister. A govt crypo currency.

I'm following you... I suppose one thing I worry about with a relay or a client site is going off line. It happens in my area. I don't wanna piss people off.

I'm so computer dumb but somehow, I'm intrigued by the idea of setting up a relay or client. My problem is I can't find someone who's got a list, literally saying, "Step one..... Do this. Step two..... Do this, Three... Do this" I told ya I was clueless!! I've felt the same way about a Lightning Node. I'd commit some money, but I can't get past reading instructions that are legal speak on steroids to this simpleton..

Maybe do it while running the quarter mile or something..

Yeah, the history of the human race..

Why on earth do we rent our money from the FED, a private corporation? They literally OWN the money we use, and print it up out of thin air and lend it out with interest. Pretty nice gig, if you can get it. Just how did the FED end up with a balance sheet of $7 trillion worth of assets? Debt, that the taxpayer is responsible to pay off. These people are at the heart of the Worlds troubles. They are the enemy of the World's Free Markets. And the light of the future? Bitcoin, The Global Green Socialist Crime Syndicate's Kryptonite.

That's a great question, my friend. While Nostr is still relatively new and under development, there are many exciting possibilities for business clients and brick-and-mortar businesses to link up with Nostr connections.

For example, you may see some Bitcoin payments companies like Foldapp or OpenNode establishing an integration with the Nostr protocol soon, allowing individuals or participating merchants/businesses to incentivize purchases on the platform. Through this API Integration individuals can receive discounts/deals when paying using bitcoin on specific shops/partner websites of these applications while at the same businesses can utilize Bitcoin Lightning Network transactions rebate incentive as a marketing strategy.

As more people become aware of the benefits of decentralization and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin for lowering fees & settling transactions quicker than paypal/digital currencies such as Visa/Mastercard credit cards models would entail. Projects that come full circle integrating with Exchanges/Debit Cards especially those tbat incorporate/lend #Stablecoins USDT that form trillions estimated are coming into such system by fixing traditional inflation each will increasingly be found tackling particular pain points meant to serve accurate value/users in useful ways down the line.

It wouldn't be surprising if over time more Clients incorporating both Brick & Mortar Businesses begin integrating Nostr like use case scenarios into client facing APIs.

Let's see the NostrAmazon Client come around..

Strikes' a nice place to go buy your Bitcoin too.. Once you've gone through their process of opening your account, which is a bit of a headache, but worth it. I'm waiting for the EU to open up. I have relatives in Greece I'd like to educate about all things Bitcoin..

He's probably got a few secret BTC accounts..

Have you seen Friedman's little minute and a half video on the Four Ways You Can Spend Money?  He was great at clarifying complex issues into simple words.
