After a lengthy conversation with ChatGPT about the consensus mechanisms that keep cryptocurrencies secure, it gave me its two choices:

- If you are concerned about sustainability and energy efficiency then Proof of Stake would be your choice. Cryptos such as Ethereum use this mechanism.

- If you are concerned with security and battle-tested mechanisms, then Proof of Work is the way to go. Bitcoin runs on Proof of Work.

The world is headed towards a centralized, A.I., Quantum and CBDC-dominated future. In that world, the security of our digital life and money will be paramount, at both the individual and enterprise levels. Proof of Work will be the winner in this new digital world.

Using noStrudel, I keep getting a "NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource" when I try to upload a picture. Can someone please tell me how to fix this? It happens if I "copy/paste" a picture into the new note or if I click on add a picture and browse for it.

make sure if you do that you flash nostr:npub1235tem4hfn34edqh8hxfja9amty73998f0eagnuu4zm423s9e8ksdg0ht5 and get a personal server from nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll. Pointless to get a google phone if you will be using Google Cloud (to which Google holds the encryption keys to their cloud).

So accurate

If it were only that simple. Remember that digital emissions do not dissipate in the air. They stay in some server somewhere that you don't even know about. In other words, even if you delete, you don't know for a fact that they have been completely eliminated from other servers.

Yes, it's not what we maxis think about USDT, it's more of what the market demands. The reality is that stablecoins are king in big parts of the Global South. USDT over LN is extremely bullish for bitcoin. In my opinion, bitcoin will win when nobody knows that it's being used. It will be the back-end of all transactions, native sats over LN or stablecoins. Being the backbone of all transactions requires various bitcoin companies to keep buying bitcoin for liquidity in larger and larger amounts. Number go up for all of us.

Can you explain how the rektbot works? Take this one for example, how does it know the realized loss? If I'm understanding it correctly, that degen shorted BTC and then closed the position at $99,349 realizing that massive loss? How does the rektbot know the entry point of that short position initially?
