Well I've made one rotation on my farm with the cows. The grass was growing a lot so I didn't get to use the whole area but they are now back to where they started. They have grown a lot since they were here last and are very used to the farm but this move was a bit sketchy. I had to move them 375 yards down a road and it got a bit hairy but we got them there. Happy to start the rotation again!

Haven't been on nostr very much lately because spring is in full swing on the farm. Between infrastructure projects cows gardens and prepping for pigs alongside a full time job and family, haven't had much time to post. But the cows have settled in really well.

I don't have to feed them supplemental hay any more as the grass has come in nicely. Even though I don't have the best pasture they still are in good condition.

Been dealing with flies more, but fly paper around their paddocks have helped keep it under control.

Well most of it roadways were built pre 1971. Not sure we would if we had to build them now. Peak fiat world

This is why I hate the "intrinsic value" argument. Not only is it a stupid metric that means nothing but the more "intrinsic" the value the actual less use it had as money!

What categorizes adoption? Owning some? Spending regularly? Accepting it for goods/services?
