I've been thinking a lot about this idea lately. And I want to elaborate a bit. So the type of scenario I am thinking of is like a sudden rapid devaluation of the dollar or maybe the mandatory implementation of a CBDC. Basically a situation where the choice really was Bitcoin or slavery and it was so glaringly obvious that a vast amount of Americans would be looking to get off of Zero.

Now I get it that some would choose the slavery option because it was easier, but I would expect that for quite a few, the need to get into #bitcoin would be somewhat urgent in the event of the scenarios described above.

How do we as bitcoiners make sure we are ready for a mass opt out of fiat and opt into Bitcoin scenario? For me I am trying to hone an "elevator" pitch that starts with a basic and simple introduction and ends with the set up of a non-custodial wallet in an hour or less.

As always, interested in thoughts and strategies from my fellow bitcoiners.

My fav RBF song. Saw them live in a small venue one time when I was in college. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to!

Sitting on the jon, about to crack into this bad boy.

This is probably the wrong forum to ask on, but are there really people out there who think nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 was wrong? Not government assholes, real people.

Going on record as being a huge proponent of the pitch clock #mlb

Starting pitcher Peter Lambert

No way! That dudes voice is one of the best instruments I’ve ever heard.

Hopefully no rain delay. Go Rockies! #baseballstr #grownostr

The only bands I would pay to see live at this point in my life are Tool and Sigur Ros. Seriously can’t think of any others. Maybe Blink-182, but that’s a big maybe.

So, hypothetically, there might be some alien haunting people just for the shits and giggs?

You know one book I read is called "Why Marx was Right". It was kind of a summary of all of his ideas and their arguments for Marxism. I don't think Marx saw a difference between true capitalism and crony capitalism. It highlighted for me the difference between the two. Crony capitalism, to me, is only a few degrees off from Marxist thought. True capitalism, where the free markets are allowed to work ,without interference of the state, is the best economic system IMO.
