Started deploying a full Bitcoin node on Thursday afternoon. Began with a refurbed mini-pc, added fast storage and installed Debian. The node finished syncing a few hours ago, and I'm now letting electrs do its thing.
Maybe I'll be able to connect to the thing in the morning. Yay!
Yeah I set up a self hosted Alby but at the time I was using Lifpay for Zaps. Lifpay pulled the plug so I flipped to my Alby instead.
I reckon I'll move to something else.
Currently syncing a full bitcoin node for the first time. I never knew you could have so much fun repeatedly running bitcoin-cli to see the update status.

I use Tasker on Android to filter my calls. If a caller isn't in my favourites/allowed groups, the call just gets dropped.
