Twitter only appears to have the option to delete stuff, anyone could have screenshotted/archived your tweet before you deleted it and even if nobody has, Twitter still retains your deleted tweet (it's only soft deleted in their backend).
On nostr you can request a deletion of a post (amethyst on android can at least), but of course it can't be enforced.

As far as I understand it's about configuration of mempool policy, so this will not result in a hard fork.
