"Don't take refuge in the false security of consensus." - Christopher Hitchens

Twitter only appears to have the option to delete stuff, anyone could have screenshotted/archived your tweet before you deleted it and even if nobody has, Twitter still retains your deleted tweet (it's only soft deleted in their backend).

On nostr you can request a deletion of a post (amethyst on android can at least), but of course it can't be enforced.

You risk them fucking up your opsec by proxy.

Also down the road they might start to assume that you're filthy rich because you've been talking about bitcoin for X years. Some people can't handle knowing you have wealth without pestering you for loans/investments/handouts/etc

If Bitcoin's only property was that it was scarce, she would have a point.

Scarcity does not equal value, but something valuable is often scarce.

Negotiate a higher salary or shop around for a new job that pays better.

I know it's easier said than done, but it's the only way to alleviate the problem other than waiting and hoping that the politicians will fix the issue (they won't).

“Households in England urged not to go outside between 11am and 3pm on Sunday”

“Residents in parts of England might be well advised to stay indoors on Sunday between 11am and 3pm as soaring temperatures are likely to blast parts of the country. According to the latest BBC weather forecast, Sunday will see highs of 26C in London and Manchester.”

WTF‽ Even at 100% humidity that's just not hot.

English people have a tendency to melt above 25°C

As far as I understand it's about configuration of mempool policy, so this will not result in a hard fork.

@grok is it true that you don't know what's real?

Authoritarians using their authority for their own gains, who would have thought...
