My name may, or may not, be Aaron.
Can't connect to the context of this statement, nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx. Help please!
It’s unimportant and the statement stands true on its own.
Not exactly doxxed… it was a 2 year old public filing…
He’s been public about his work with GAM and board seat at Cathedra (fka Fortress Blockchain)
The pitchforks are already out. What other clients are doing this?
nostr:npub1earna05hx6ax38r33h3atmecjzdu547m8suw87w70aw6mlyga4hsqcja5j won't be the only Nostr client to custody keys for users. Even if ZBD plans on allowing users to export their keys at a later date, at some point we will most likely see another Nostr client that won't allow this. They may even clearly state this in their business model. The beauty of Nostr is that it's truly open. That means any client can be built in any shape or fashion that fits their user's needs. The free market will prevail here though, I think. Users will want to try other experiences and advocate for their clients to allow them to do this. And if they don't, those clients may not make it. Freedom and user choice will prevail.
Is there a reason you’re stanning so hard for ZBD? Surely they can defend their own practices. Why are you?

From what I understand, ZBD controls the nsec. No way to use it in another client at this point (or maybe ever?)
False equivalence.
Your nsec isn’t a “feature”.

Noticed a few impersonators pop up recently so just a friendly reminder to remain vigilant 🤙
If you’re in my DMs I’m checking your NIP-05.
My own anecdotal measuring stick of nostr’s success is the number of impersonators in my DMs.
I’m proud to report the state of our protocol is strong.
My wife just walked into the kitchen, here’s our convo, paraphrased.
Her: “All my friends are talking about the Roman Empire thing.”Looks down at her phone to read the prompt. “How often do you think about the Roman Empire?”
Me: unflinching. “Every day”
Her: “What? Why?”
Me: Smiles
Her: “I don’t get it, is this a joke?”
Me: continues smiling
Her: Walks away

nostr:npub1aeh2zw4elewy5682lxc6xnlqzjnxksq303gwu2npfaxd49vmde6qcq4nwx can you give the ELI5 on zap zap zap?
Another alternative is nostr:npub1wxl6njlcgygduct7jkgzrvyvd9fylj4pqvll6p32h59wyetm5fxqjchcan
Both are very simple to set up, though I’d recommend the former.
