Totally understand that and that's why I said live there "by choice". The things you mention like family, work, etc. would mean you lack the choice to live somewhere else.

Just know if you ever decide to move to another state your quality of life will massively improve, especially the fiat you get to keep in your wallet. I lived in SF for five years, highest state, county, and city income tax in the nation. When I moved to another state I was honestly shocked at how much more money I got to take home per paycheck. I was so accustom to the high taxes of SF I had the mentality everyone paid the tax rate I did. I was so wrong. Plus getting out of the city where there was so much crime, homelessness, and human suffering was so good for my mental health.

No character assassination from me. I simply stated I have been to NYC, Long Island, etc. and I have zero clue why anyone would live there by choice. Lack of freedom, subpar weather, very high taxes / cost of living, etc. simply doesn’t fit my lifestyle at all. I have been fortunate enough to have lived in a lot of places in the United States and have traveled internationally so my perspective is a lot different than most.

It’s interesting. I had New Yorker and Long Island friends who grew up in both places visit me in Scottsdale and Newport Beach. Not one of them wanted to go back to NYC. They had very been to either place and couldn’t believe how much better everything was. One of my friends ended up moving from NYC to Scottsdale after the trip to visit me and said they would never move back to NYC or Long Island.

I had to attend a waspy birthday party while I was in NYC. Everyone thought I was a unicorn because I was the only one from the other part of the country. When I told them I was from Orange County in Southern California I was the most interesting person in the room. New Yorkers and Long Islanders are just a totally different vibe than what I’m used to. Also how east coasters dress is hilarious. They lack style, it’s all terrible looking collared shirts with shorts that look ridiculous. 😅

Why can’t you use lightning on cash app? When the QR code pops up simply long press and then let go on the QR code for cash app to reveal the lightning address or on chain address that you can copy. If you use the lightning address make sure to put in the amount first before you copy the lightning address.

Cash app bitcoin roundup doesn’t have any fees. That’s one way I stack. 🤙🏼
