Thanks. 🤙 When you verify somebody, you can evince by selecting your level of interaction: Met in person, video chat, audio chat, text chat, etc. The foundation will be in person verifications though to set it off on the right foot. Will update the page to make that clear.

Nah. It’s literally just one human vouching that there is another human behind a given account - as opposed to a spam bot.
But of course, there will be rules that are meant to prevent people from cheating the system. Those rules aren’t built into the version that’s currently live. Right now you could spin up a bunch of accounts and verify them. So the rules will be what makes it interesting. 🤓

Verified Human allows humans to verify that other humans are human on Nostr. It is meant to aid in the fight against spam bots by combining a reputation system with social proof of work, and eventually costliness.
