I was thinking "nostrilled" was the shorter version of nostr-pilled.
Someone asked if they could instead of putting an LNURL if they could just put their Node ID and pay by keysend. Is that in the plans? I think in the meantime, you can do something where you connect alby to your node and get an lnurl from alby.
Before the China ban, people were saying it was a covert Chinese attack on America. Glad that one's over.
An even crazier Inscription virus would be a ransomware inscription that used the bitcoin it received from people to self replicate by purchasing more blockspace to make more ransomware inscriptions. It would be a parasitic living thing, living off of the living Bitcoin network.

Check out Tony Giorgio's work for info on LN privacy. TLDR: we got the reliability up by doing minimal hops down wide central channels. Now that we are getting better at the payments actually working, we can do cool stuff like making the payments take round-about paths for privacy. Mutiny wallet will be awesome.
Can anyone help me with this, I'm using amethyst, when I click a lightning bolt under a post Wallet of Satoshi pops up, but it wants to send 1000 sats and doesn't let me change it. Any ideas?
Oh cool, on iris, I can zap, but it doesn't show. Lemme try.
Disagree that Bitcoinis not provably connected to the real world. Blockchains are blind. The only window is through providing cryptographic proof that a computation occurred. Computation that is simple, not "complicated math problems" like anti-POW propaganda says. If it's simple, you can't get better at it, causing the link between energy and the Computation to be more direct. This is the portal between the real world and the digital that doesn't rely on trust. The only thing a blind computer can be 100% cryptographically sure occured.
I get that a central relay is returning to what we don't want. But we can either exclude alot of the world, or have this as an option, and I think the unpredictably rotating relay is kinda a clever whack-a-mole situation.
Saw this. For those who pay by the MB, even those who don't, when internet is scarce, sending to many relays the same information is not really always possible in the Global South. Of course this is the whole censorship resistant point of Nostr. What about a "low internet mode" for the Global South, where the info gets beamed to a random, rotating relay, which then gossips it to a several others. The relay originally accepting the notes is always changing unpredictably, each note. In town, if there is better internet, this mode can be switched off.

Iris has a thing where their Global is just people either you or your friends have interacted with, so no Chinese spam.
Does Amethyst not have a Global Feed or I just can't find it?
Sharing some of my better pieces now that I have nostr. This one turned out to be prophetic for me personally.
Here is:

Funny the next article that they recommend is a mushrooms one. I felt that mushrooms confuse you for a few hours and when you start to put your thoughts back in order, you may not put them back in the same order. I used to realize my priorities were entirely out of whack. In recent years, Bitcoin has also done that for me, when I thought I was already set in my ways.

It's true, even if I don't have my own device on me, if I can connect to the internet on any phone or computer, I can access my SN account which has like $10 of sats on it.
Seeing my notes I posted on my first client pop up on the second client.
Congrats, I'm really excited for promises to be the most user friendly way of using Bitcoin privately.
I started my Bitcoin Twitter account to talk and learn about Bitcoin. I have, at times, not said things that I felt about politics. (I have never censored my opinions about Bitcoin though. (OP_vault should be considered)) anyway, just realized, I'm here, not Twitter.
I worked in managing weddings during the beginning of the pandemic and although I wasn't afraid of the virus's affect on me, I was told if I got the vaccine, I couldn't spread it to others. My clients were rich NYC couples, and it was a literal deal breaker.
I had a bad reaction to it. And was ill for a couple of weeks. I recovered, but don't know what kind of damage has happened. Never got boosters.
Anyway, that's what happened.
I can't do anything about it now, except... always be skeptical. And a job is just a job.
This morning, my Twitter account is back, idunno. URL of what? The original announcement? Or the thing with Nakadai?
