Mostly, but with a CBDC it's more direct. The government will have all the transactions in a ledger and it's programmable money, but for them, not for us. The CCP either has or can request WeChat transaction history. I'm sure the Chinese try to get cash or use bitcoin for transactions they think their gov. will look poorly on. The central banks want to take the latter options away.
Yeah, if it helped him get the WeChat experience, Elon would probably accept CBDC. But I don't think it is specifically part of his dream. Doesn't WeChat just run off of existing Chinese banking? It's been around a lot longer than talk of CBDCs have.

The twitter algorithm is set for 'engagement'. In practice, conflict increases engagement- people get mad and tweet more when they see something they don't like. That will happen here to a certain extent, but it won't be constantly reinforced by the algorithm like it is on twitter.

I would like to thank the nostr community for the lack of transgender content . On twitter, the people against transgender content are just as likely as the people who are all for it to post it. Thus, there is an never ending stream of crap on my feed there. Thank you for completely ignoring it and talking about all the interesting stuff you do.

But he would fare better if there were a game system where he could play. Is there one? Didn't look like it when I searched.
