we’ve been thinking about this all week. this moment to take part in making Bitcoin a market of exchange- being a part of the change.
when Brett came to me a few months ago and told me about Bitcoin, my first question was, “Yea but how do you use it?”. I had doubts. I wasn’t sure it was “usable”.
seeing it in action tonight is something I’ll never forget.

Tonight was the first time we spent #Bitcoin. 😃
Time is constant. But our orientation to it isn’t.

I’d rather be fiat poor and truth rich

Yeah we’ve done all the above but mainly use Trusted Housesitters because no money is exchanged - seems to be the “best” situation in order to build relationships. Still centralized however…

In the past 2+ years:
• 10+ countries
• 10+ states in US
• 50+ animals cared for
• Countless friendships made
We got started through the big platforms—and we’re grateful for them.
But over time, we began to notice something:
• The platforms took the credit
• Our reviews stayed locked inside their system
• Our value was shaped by their rules
Meanwhile, the real value was in the people.
We’ve traded trust for shelter.
Time for community.
Care for connection.
And it’s made us ask:
What if more people could live this way?
What if trust could flow peer to peer?
