Custodians and trusted 3rd parties in general are going to massively pick up in popularity under the Trump administration, unfortunately. A more permissive government generally favors trusted 3rd parties for their convenience while decentralized solutions, being harder to use, are not worth looking into for most people.
I actually don’t like the attention. I usually am on some kind of mission while driving and don’t want to stop and chat about my vehicle. Especially when it’s negative attention.

After some of the CT’s issues should I have picked one of the alternatives? Too early to say. If the recalls didn’t fix them or if new issues keep popping up then the answer is probably “yes.” If the competition’s trucks also have significant issues or if the CT has its issues sorted, then “no.”
For me I wanted an electric replacement for my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Wanted to go electric for the flexibility in energy sources to charge it (grid, solar, diesel generator, etc), backup for the house and essentially having a giant mobile battery power station. Picked the CT over the Rivian and Ford Lightning for the techy new stuff like drive by wire, full self driving and bullet-resistant sides.
Not sure. I know vram plays a huge part.
And unfortunately I think that AI demand will be the 5000 series’ version of the 4000 series’ cryptocurrency mining demand that drove the scalpers scooping up all the supply of them for a while.
I want to mess around with locally run AI models as well.
What are the chances one will be able to pick up a RTX 5090 that isn’t via a scalper who’s scooped them all up ahead of anyone else?
Jet lag is no match for 3 cups of strong coffee. The battle is finally in my favor.
My main questions:
1. Will the automated channel opens/closes, rebalances and incoming capacity acquisitions tend to drain your funds over time?
2. Will the fees get automatically set to try to offset the above (assumed) expenses?
Anyone have experience automating their Lightning node with CLBOSS? Any thoughts?
Elizabeth Warren’s anti-cryptocurrency faction is taking major L’s recently. Love to see it.
