Neat! Love that Coracle is leading the way on giving relays some love on the client side.

When you make the gossip model a reality in Amethyst, the need for huge relays will be a thing of the past. Looking forward to zap that.

Can confirm. I dont remember how I found them but I have been enjoying their news feed since then.

"Introducing scarcity to names, arguably the most subjective and personal thing in our lives, serves noone except rent seekers. We already know how to use phonebooks, we just need to upgrade small numbers, to bigger sovereign keys."

Only reading that makes me optimistic about this new attempt.

Mullvad VPN and the Tor Project today present the release of the Mullvad Browser.

A privacy-focused web browser designed to be used with a trustworthy VPN instead of the Tor Network.

Had to try and it worked! Zeus does not support it but spark-wallet handled it like a champ

Why people are throwing around sats on NOSTR for memes and shitposting instead of just funding great BTC/LN projects on https://geyser.fund ?

There are so many good projects to fund... don't waste your sats for stupid things, better use them to fund those apps and solutions that you think will help you better for using Bitcoin and Lightning Network!

Zapped. I dont care how you spend these 21sats

https://coracle.social/ allows you to interact with notes without losing your position in the feed, it does that by opening a modal with the note view when you click on it.

You can even navigate between notes inside the modal, then close it when you're done and go back to your feed. It is powerful.

Two things I miss the most: timeline for replies of my followed + download more recent posts when I open it. Now it only shows like 10 recent posts and then jumps to the last time I opened the app.

Bolt12 is for reusable invoices so you don't need lnurl (DNS, webserver...), it works at lightning protocol level.

Offline payments like those wallets you mention are not really offline AFAIK. Breez, ACINQ and so on act as middleman.

You peer is offering the lowest feerate possible and your node is (sensibly) rejecting it. See this github issue for a workaround but don't leave it

running with ignore-fee-limits=true. https://github.com/ElementsProject/lightning/issues/6028
