Software engineer, outdoor enthusiast, occasional ham radio operator, aspiring hunter and homesteader, bitcoiner, neopagan druid, used to race sailboats, too many hobbies to list. Based in Northern Virginia. I don't like, only zap.

It doesn't work like that. The lists are shared as events on Nostr, just like a regular note, and that's where the client pulls it from.

The only real concern is the being overwritten by misbehaving clients, thus the need for backups that you can then publish (again) to fix any problems those misbehaving clients caused.

Ah, cool. I was guessing snake, and wondering if it was one HUGE snake skin, or many. I assume more than one shedding? I have very little experience with them, despite dragon sitting for a couple of weeks a couple of years ago. The only shedding that one was doing was on it's head, and it was coming off in smaller sections.

And yes, I'm ignoring your question. πŸ˜‡

GN Nostr, I need to catch up on sleep this weekend.

It was caused by a solar storm, I think. It doesn't happen a lot, but it happens. Just be happy the flare that caused it didn't hit the earth directly. I seem to recall it being a doozy.

That was a few months ago when the northern lights were visible down where I am (just south of Washington DC, so it's rare). Everybody was posting their pictures, but I got nothing but clouds until then.

What the he'll kind of shipping padding is this? In a package from Anton's Meat & Eat.

Fair. I always assumed there were two possible paths to go down:

1. regular Nostr relay with Pear backend

2. Pear client for Nostr that skips the HTTP part

1 is easy, 2 more complicated, depends on 1

I guess there's also 3: nostr client that injects notes into a Pear backend. Think of it like a bridge. you would probably need that to make 2 work and not wall itself off from most of Nostr.

I certainly wouldn't complain, but maybe try just posting about regular stuff in your life.

Doesn't mean you can let your guard down on letting your own algorithm steal your attention (he says 40 minutes after he was supposed to put his phone down and read before bed...)

Huh, that sounds like an interesting project, and ive been looking for a Nostr project. I'll see what it looks like this weekend.

Would Ghost be the primary interest? I use Hugo for my blog. Any others, leave them in comments.

(second try. hope this isn't a dup)

Huh, that's an interesting project. Would Ghost be the primary interest? I use Hugo for my blog. but I'll take a look this weekend and see what I can come up with.

If anyone has interest in integrating with other platforms, drop them in here and I'll check those, too.

I assumed it wasn't, I was trying to make a joke.

And yeah, it is contradictory, I just went through all the apps on my phone (4) to see if any of them had the option to hide the like button. No luck.
