How to do a good nostr client test:

1. Record your screen. Use Loom, Cleanshot X or any of the other screen recording tools to record your screen as you use the client. You can also just use your phone if you have a stand.

2. It is best if you also enable your Mic and just talk your way through your experience. You don't need to know what to so at all.. anything you say as a natural reaction to the app behavior is EXACTLY what the dev needs to see. Don't be afraid to narrate your thoughts. If something feels off, call it out. If something feels right, point it out. Devs like compliments too, if they are legit.

That's it! Just sharing how you use the client is wayyy better than saying I wish X feature existed or Y doesn't work.

Most screen recorders have an upload function too so it's a matter of a few clicks to share your video with developers.

If you took the time to test just one client per week, we'd have soooo much awesome feedback.

BONUS points if you get someone in your family to do the same (someone who knows nothing about nostr). Don't help them too much, just let them sign up and struggle through it.

Now that I'm off twitter I have zero exposure to the news cycle. But I'd like just a tiny scoche. Any suggestions? I want something that's 1. brief and 2. balanced, but also real. I followed readtangle.com for a while but couldn't stand the rationalizations.
