Stay away Stella, someone might buy you a pint in the pub or say hello to you in the road for no reason... Terrifying
They have small areas you are meant to pull into but obviously if you just passed one your screwed which is why they are 3 times riskier than normal motorways which is part of reason they had to cancel building more of them.
They are not restoring them back to how they were though persumably because these places are so congested now because we imported a Liverpool's worth of people last year and a Southampton's worth of people the year before that. And those are just the people we know about, I think this is the most universally hated government I can recall in my lifetime.
Yeah it's great it's probably on thier website too if you want a better picture of it. Might be worth looking at their seed mixes too and reverse engineering with some locally available seed.
You should see the smart motorways we have here. Some prick decided to get rid of the hard shoulder so instead of always being able to pull off the road when you have a tyre blowout you just get to die instead.
This is probably the only estate agent anyone ever enjoyed dealing with. π

That's from the seed company :)

I noticed some change round here thankfully I think mainly thanks to the really good seed company round here....Mob grazing with sheep after harvesting the brassicas, cover crops, wildlife strips but you still see some people stuck in the chem ag ways stuck with barren dead lifeless clay pocketed with chunks of limestone. The difference is rather stark now.
Can't say for certain but I would be something like this:
You have a tiny amount of radioactive isotope not found in nature insert it into the fungi and have devices dotted along the fungal network to measure where it pops up. Persumably it involves a lot of highly accurate synchronisated clocks too!
Yes! The more we learn the less we seem to know π. It's why this entire area is quite so interesting.
Can't wait to get a microscope!
We should get him to claim his podcast on fountain. Though is it possible to orange pill the Amish? π€·
Your welcome. It's one of the best podcasts in this sort of space,, lots to go back and learn from too if you have just found it. There is one about honeycrisp apples that's really interesting to show just how nuanced the needs of a particular fruit variety can get.
Yeah me too π tried to clip it on fountain but the mobile reception seems to screw up my efforts. Lots of interesting points in this one especially about the fungal bacteria ratio which I always felt was correct but it's great to have someone as knowledgeable as him confirm it.
Mycorrhizal fungi can share isotopes across hundreds of miles their network in 0.3 seconds π²

I used to like them. The last Mac I bought you needed to remove every component just to replace the memory. The previous one I bought had one screw to remove. After that they started soldering and using more dongles for everything.
Don't need a desktop to be super thin and quiet would rather have it easier to upgrade and repair!
Finally got a tag done nostr:npub1lwy7trur3d7hz65gxq82rujnnllhsan25yfpasgfdzmtzzjf3u5q0v4zv0, thought of trying to engrave it, but I'm shocking with an engraver, so permanent marker on sheet metal and I'll hit it with a clear coat for extra longevity. I'll mount it on a pole of some type. Hopefully start some discussions when friends and family read it.

Nice one π. Imagine the discussions in decade or so, christ on a bike that's a fecking expensive tree π

It's hard enough getting weirdos banned or shadow banned from other platforms to join and you would think a lot of these people would be first adopters.
