asking the most clueless questions about life @spirko sent me

Unless I missed something, Primal support for connecting wallet is "get Alby". For those of us trying to escape Alby, I haven't seen an option.

Sounds like you've got some real winners in the family. My own family didn't have a lot of wealth - we never owned a residence and we never had more than one bathroom - but us kids worked pretty hard (as our parents did) and those of us who have children have sizable amounts to be given to the children if they haven't already received assistance with the homes they already own.

Of course, my generation in the family stumbled into finance (I wanted to be a copy editor or a translator at the UN or an astronaut lol) and maybe we learned there how rich people stay rich from generation to generation.

Your parents are a perfect example of why UBI will never work unless a totalitarian system would be put it place with it. As Chris Rock once said, rich people invest their money - poor people go out and buy rims (for their car tires, as was the fad at the time). "Shaq makes millions and he is rich, but Jerry Buss signs his checks - he is WEALTHY".

Certainly the days of athletes and entertainers (not Shaq, but many, many others) blowing their money and thus having nothing in later life have come to the end. Maybe these sad stories were what woke people up.

Now let's look at the opposite:

"You don't know" is a sign of a bully. One may certainly ask for proof of some remark, or maybe change the statement to "we don't know". Pointing a finger is usually done by someone looking for a fight, to bring you down to the accuser's level of misery.

"You are wrong" is similarly an expression of hubris and anti-socialism. Providing proof to the contrary and letting the speaker divine his or her own conclusion is a way to allow the other to "save face" as the Chinese say.

"You don't understand" is the ultimate sign of a sociopath, especially when used after the first two expressions failed to produce the strife and misery intended. This is a sure sign to run - the person using this expression is simply a black hole of humanity trying to suck you into his or her bleak vortex.

Just my two sats...

"Continuity of Government" is the term used for "permanent control". Even under a nuclear attack, funded by the proles but provoked by the ruling class, the ruling class already has plans to remain in control over whichever proles remain alive. They have shelters, paid for by the proles. The proles, of course, do not have any shelter.

But that's old world thinking. Munitions cause so much damage to infrastructure that having control over the proles would be meaningless as there wouldn't be enough proles to rebuild necessary facilities.

The current thought is that the proles are indeed useful as lab rats, but of course they need to be restricted as to movement and diet and homogenized as much as possible to make the data useful. Once the experiments are over, the proles may be disposed. Once the proles furnish enough robots to keep the infrastructure working, the proles become useless and can be removed.

"Continuity of Government" is simply "continuity of the ruling class". Proles are expendable. A plane landing in a neighborhood is acceptable. But any attack, threat of attack or even seeds that may become a threat to an attack on the ruling class must be stamped out immediately. A false flag "pipe bomb" in the neighborhood of a ruling class building falls under "Continuity of government". But arson destroying the property of thousands of proles is simply unfortunate.

Climate change. You'll be fine once we kill all the cows and sheep and trees and accept that our lives were meant to be lived in a one mile radius of where we were born.

After going 0-3 in the playoffs (and the Bears completely fizzling out), were we too high on the NFC North?

Should we expect that to be the best division again next year?

There's a good chance the Lions and Vikings regress a bit, the Packers were terrible against good teams, and the Bears might play down to their standard.

I could see any of the AFC West, NFC West, or AFC North being better than the NFC North.

Cardinals most likely to improve. NFC west was tougher than looked last year and could be tougher next year. NFC south will continue to be laughable.

Am I correct that there is no option to add my lightning channel to Primal using the web client? I see lots of tutuorials showing how to do that with a device, but the same options fail to appear on the web client?

"Public-Private", which means "government-corporate", is literally the definition of fascism. Literally.

>Fascism is the absolute complicity between big capital and the State": When the interests of capitalism are aligned with politics, fascism approaches.<

When i attend a "going away' party for a first time college bound young adult, my go to gift is a laundry basket and a few rolls of quarters. Welcome to the never ending world of laundry. :)

You'd think that Trump would know better than to schedule his luncheon at the same time as the next child sacrifice. Trump needs a better event planner.

OTOH, I remember all of the radio ads telling people how they can "get rich quick" by flipping houses in Las Vegas. That was 2006. In 2008, the real estate market crashed, and Vegas was among the hardest hit. :)
