Happy Lord's Day

I think both sides could benefit from understanding the arguments better.
A blanket statement without specifying the 85% that is actually not better privacy, I think, is more harmful than good. Mention custodians, mention the requirement to run your own node, the need to open channels with nodes that you know won't track. Definitely don't forget to mention your innovation on nostr zaps and the fact that anyone could call up the IRS, look at how many zaps you received/sent from your nostr profile and make the case that these micro transactions were for goods and services. Anyone can ask the IRS to audit anyone on here and the evidence is front and center, not encrypted or hidden. The person who tattles gets 40% of the cut without being taxed on it.
Some people say LN usage is primarily custodial. My statistics don't support that
Here's a list of LN wallets on Google Play, with their kind (custodial or not) listed with their number of downloads

Conclusion: self custodial LN wallets are more popular
Ah, I see the disclaimer note and correction. 👍

...is this...are you?...what? So the conclusion is that LN usage IS primarily custodial. So your statistics do in fact support this.
Here's a gag book that's still on Amazon. I think you just need to work on the positioning.
https://www.amazon.com/Blank-Novelty-Book-Turning-Priceless/dp/1547073217
Why did it get pulled off of Amazon? Do they not allow gag gifts, or were you tagging it as something it wasnt?
Weird how of all places, on a censorship resistant protocol, that this is the cult culture
Everytime super strawman posts about Monero, I become more convinced of its viability. 🤣 I have to assume he is purposely reverse evangelizing at this point. Everytime someone makes a valid point, he rewards them with an ad hominem meme, and everyone who asks a valid question gets a monero sales pitch.
So one of my...blessings from the Lord...found my phone in the depths of the toilet, and another one decided to "clean it" by washing it in the sink to get the toilet water off of it.
So, basically, what I'm trying to say is that I'm extending my phoneless experiment into February.
Bruh, I still have roll down windows and an analog mile reader
I listened to a podcast recently that was recommended by Watchman Privacy called How to Arrest-Proof your family. Honestly, life changing.
Found some old pictures of the first paid gig I got, playing in a van halen cover band. Each of us got $300 back in 2006 for playing at a local festival event. I was convinced at that moment that we were going to be famous (we did make top 100 in canada one time 🤣)
I'd end up playing with 7 other bands for the next 5 years before going to university and leaving that life behind me. I'm glad I did, that kid was an idiot.

Mike Pompeo asked him not to, I honestly wasnt expecting this.
This is big news for the company I do contract dev work for. The last time this passed with bipartisan zeal, we were basically told to comply, build backdoor access, or else we would face consequences. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2025/01/victory-federal-court-finally-rules-backdoor-searches-702-data-unconstitutional
$47M Bitcoin wallet linked to Silk Road founder re-surfaces after a decade

Conor Grogan, a Director at Coinbase, has identified 430 BTC distributed across various wallets potentially tied to Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the Silk Road marketplace.
These Bitcoin holdings, untouched for over a decade, are estimated to be worth $47 million based on current market prices.
In a Jan. 22 post on X (formerly Twitter), Grogan pointed out that these funds are not among the more than 100,000 BTC seized by US authorities during Silk Road’s 2013 shutdown.
They just need to leave this poor guy alone
I know I try to use my power for good. Honestly though once me nostr:npub1ll99fcrclkvgff696u8tq9vupw9fulfc8fysdf6gfwp7hassrh2sktxszt weighs in let’s meet for coffee and discuss menu.
I work from home so I can make this happen whenever.
Next step, sue the media for billions for slander and defamation. #freeross
All you guys taking pictures of shoes on your head, why is this a thing? Also, y'all are confirming my suspicions that we are all just a bunch of old people circle zapping each other.

I had a random dream that I was talking to Trump about Ross and how he was going to avoid looking at the case the first week. Pretty sure I convinced him otherwise. You're welcome Ross.
