These relays are not Nostr, Nostr is only the language your client uses to download the content from the relay, and your device only downloads what it asks for and from the servers it chooses to.

yeah I've never seen a single porn or csam post on Nostr and I'm grateful for that. really hate how there's no opt out method on X for OFesque content regardless of the fact that I never engage with it. will say that it's gotten much better now, but much prefer only seeing content from people I follow.

I learned how to find it when I started, just so I knew what to watch for so I never had to see it again. We control our own feeds, we don't control what other people post. Nobody should be able to control what other people post, we just need to take control of our own content and our own feeds.

Yes, it is a good idea. But where is that comparison to be made? I wrote many explanations of what Nostr is in many places of the internet, and many other people also did pretty good ones. Is anyone reading them? Apparently not. There are many videos and interviews published in many places that explain what Nostr is in a very compelling and correct way. Who is watching them?
