Yes it's private ! also with the hidden words added π«‘ verry happy with a feed you can adjust every moment in time. And mute bandjes and Bots π€ trying all clients but always comeback to Amethyst. Everyone works with different tools. That makes working together fun. π€

The mute is valuable to me for the occasional spam injections.
I mute the npub so I donβt see their crud.
But as for real humans, I donβt think Iβve muted anyone that is real.

I really only mute bots or people that spam my timeline because others I follow keep reposting them.
Just follow and unfollow people over time. That's the beauty of decentralized social media.

I muted a couple spam impersonators. I figured maybe some clients could incorporate that signal into their algorithms or something.
I don't mute anything of actual substance (even bad substance).
I have muted a lot of people, mainly anyone who posts porn, and accounts that are rude or noisy.

Opposite for me, I must have hundreds of accounts blocked/muted. Most are spam accounts, but there are definitely some racists and other deplorables in there as well.
