When I was a normie the only reprieve I felt was being drunk.
Everything else was crushing me.
I felt like I couldn’t escape.
18 years old and the weight of the world bearing down on me.
So I’d get drunk and leave the party early, drive around by myself and smoke cigarettes letting the cold air from the window hit me in the face.
I’d drive around the rich neighborhoods listening to music.
I could see families in the windows. Happy. It looked warm inside. An orange glow lighting the homes.
Dreaming about having a better life, but feeling a million mile gap between my ambitions and reality.
Stuck.
Alone.
Not knowing how I could fix my situation.
