Lets look at more context while we wait for nostr:nprofile1qqstnem9g6aqv3tw6vqaneftcj06frns56lj9q470gdww228vysz8hqpzdmhxue69uhkzmr8duh82arcduhx7mn9qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcam28zl.

Most vaccines are compared to saline as a placebo as demonstrated by the examples above, or this trial on a dengue vaccine (doi: 10.1016/S0140-6736(20)30682-6.) for another example. This is actually the cheaper and less laborious thing to do. In some situations something else is used (e.g. a different vaccine or the adjuvants). For example, if you want to prove superiority or non-inferiority of a new vaccine it makes sense to compare the new vaccine to an established one. Another reason might be ethical considerations. Is it acceptable to withhold an effective vaccine from half of the study population? Regulatory requirements might be a third reason why it could be necessary to use something else than saline.

As with most things in life, when you look beyond the first superficial outrage and excitement there is a lot more nuance under the surface.

I'm interested in more details from nostr:nprofile1qqstnem9g6aqv3tw6vqaneftcj06frns56lj9q470gdww228vysz8hqpzdmhxue69uhkzmr8duh82arcduhx7mn9qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcam28zl .

As an engineer I get triggered when someone uses the word "all" (or "impossible").

If they use "all" and then there are negative examples, then the person is wrong, lying, manipulating, or just being dumbass.

Use that type of speak when you talk to government or lawyers, not to other nostriches.

It’s taking hours to out the entire list together and find all of the sources, but it’s genuinely hard to believe when you put the entire list in one place. The problem is tht even though these are all the actual manufacturers and the FDA as the source, it can’t just be google searched and post the link that comes up like 99% of people who “debate” the topic. You can’t even use Ai to help thanks to how horribly censored it is.

And yes, very unfortunately, the word “all” is actually accurate for everything on the child CDC vaccine schedule. And I’ll have the details on every one of it doesn’t take me the whole week.

I’ve worked for a couple hours over yesterday and Saturday and have most of the list, but some of the sources have been removed from pubmed, but luckily I already saved some it seems and I’m finding the others on clinicaltrials.gov

Looking forward to review the list. I expect you apply "The SCiEnCe" standards you initially cited 😉

Take your time, generations of researchers worked on the issues you are trying to address here.

Sci Hub or Anna's archive is your friend for inaccessible "doi"s.

Thanks, I’ll add that to my toolbox 🙏🏻

Yeah, that's a massive one! It goes around the paywalls for medical papers.

Also if you want to get any (ANY!) book for e-readers, then Anna's is the place.
