Haven does this (import & blast) for your own pubkey if you are willing to put the work to self-host. And nostr.wine has been around for ages. So basically, the more options we have on Nostr, the better.
The self-host dream for me is a relay that will automatically connect to all in the inbox / outbox relays of people as well as defined relays, proxy on demand but also cache what it proxied so that if an origin server goes down it still works. Store events sent to it on top of that, as well as forwarding those to all the outbox relays. Software like that sounds like a dream for this ecosystem as it then becomes much more decentral if all these relays are proxying to each other. Yours is so close from the sounds of it, but you have that 1 account restriction on it.
What do you need? Support for multiple npubs *of your own* in one subscription?
Its not a need really, I am just toying around and probably wont host. But I like having the skills to setup infrastructure of communication should I need to. Lets say Nostr becomes blocked and I want to spread info on how to self host these. Knowing which relay can act as a peer in an unreliable environment is big. Because those then interact with the bigger relays as a proxy but also serve as a local relay in situations where the upstream ones become unreachable.
I saw that, but I'd want the option of making a public relay should I ever want/need to. So the own pubkey part is holding it back for me. Fine as a default, but i'd like more options than that.

While Haven v2 may incorporate whitelisting multiple npubs, and there are requests for optional aggregator relays for npubs followed by the owner as per your comment above, at its heart Haven is a specialised personal relay and I prefer not to blur the lines too much. Fiajaf, Utxo and Kayhan have other Khatru-based relays that may be a better fit. Also, Nostr has some popular non-Khatru-based relays like strfry and nostream that have mature ecosystems around them and can be adapted to do pretty much anything by folks with the proper DevOps skills. It broadcasts your note to all other relays and fetches notes from all other relays.
You can even publish a list of relays you want the proxium to read or write to.

Of course. If you set a list, it uses that, if you don't, it used a huge default list for your.
If I ever want to host it myself does it also act as a standalone relay or would it need to be paired with a secondary standalone one?
Its standalone. It connects to other relays to proxy them, but the other relays don't have to be your, they cloud be any public / private relay you wish.
So, this is the only software you want/have to to run. 😵💫

Meant it more in the sense if it would be able to store the messages locally or if its merely a proxy.

No its just a proxy and don't store anything. I can add a store or persistent flag to it.
Currently it's under development and it can be too slow. But I'm working on it to publish the first version.
