i ask all these gen z bartenders what their favorite bar is and they say they don’t go to bars. did drinking end at millennials
Discussion
I ask the same thing to my gen-z employees and they say the same thing!!
Yep. 38/m/TX here -Thc/cbd is the way to go. Plus as oceanslim said, booze aint cheap and the kids are broke.
Weed is cheaper
come to the midwest - things are still good here
Yes
Maybe the gen Z bartenders you asking are legally allowed to work but not legally allowed to drink.
Remember the prohibition 😆
i hope so. its terrible.
bartenders that dont go to bars.. 🤔
It's wild because I feel like I caught the last train. Not that drinking is great, it's not, but gosh to be 22 and getting ready to go to the clubs with my girlfriends was such a fun night out!
I feel sad for young folks now that they don't have that. But maybe folks my parents age were sad for us that we didn't have the pure cocaine of the 80s 🤣
bars are lame. It's mostly just men and at the end of the night, there is many testosterone filled upset men they couldn't pick up so they end up fighting. Gen Z is not the problem. The problem is the government tells businesses owners how to run their bars so you end up with boring lame bars.
If bar owners were allowed to run their own bars without government intervention, it would be much more fun. Go to Asia and the bar scene is much more fun.
You had me until the end… in China the bars are all stuffed into one part of the city so they’re easier to control and regulate. 🤔
Yep, alcohol is poison.
Yes, Gen z does ketamine instead because they’re antisocial
Gen zs are into different things..😝😝🤣
Alcohol sales are down across the entire Industry. It’s a multi year trend.
Poor generation that honestly never saw 2.50$ beers i cant blame em
They spent that 16$ on machas
I'm a millenial and I was almost always the designated driver back in the early 2010s because I didn't drink alcohol.
I think it's probably one of the better aspects of inflation.
I don't know who can afford to get drunk at a bar once or twice a week these days.
Yes
Seems to be that way
Alcohol drinking is danger to your health while sitting in the bar drinking cola is not !
Gen Z can’t afford to go out. They have to pay Chipotle in 5 installments
Millennials aren't going anywhere.🏙️
I’ve noticed many young people don’t seem to have any more fun. My comment is not related to drinking but it could be part of it. What I mean is young people I meet are all super serious, no jokes, no laughs. Maybe they are depressed about climate? I don’t know … but it’s going to be a serious problem when they grow up. Eventually they’ll be taking over and I have a feeling we won’t be laughing much then.
Yes
They are on the right path. Actually a positive sign.
yeah not even saying its a bad thing. Just an observation
Alcohol catches up with you faster and faster the older you get and eventually overtakes you if you don't take notice of that fact early on.
Drinking is a habit that never wants to end, but some people wise up and dry up as much as possible.
Plus Alzheimer's fucking sux worse than liver disease.
I've also had a lot of fun drinking and socializing. as a somewhat introverted person it has helped me socially. if I look back I don't think I would have had a better life if I had not drank. tradeoffs
Their favourite bar should be the HODL Bar by nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqpquzt238htjzpq39dxmltlx60vxym9fetk9czz6kddq6fhvkf4z3us40732p, which comes in both mint cookie and banana chocolate ship flavours.

Is it not just that being a bartender makes you not want to get a drink at a bar. They know how the sausage gets made?
