I broke the fasting today completely, had strong broth for lunch and now stuck the nose into deer sausages, boar bacon and free range eggs.

I exhausted myself too much last two days and tomorrow there's another rocktheatre academy, meaning three hours of movement on the stage among other classes, so I'll fuel up today and hope some energy will come through a good long sleep.

Five kilos in a week is enough anyway.

Can't stop thinking about that Haagendasz in the freezer.πŸ‘€

Great job. What's your longest fast?

Thanks. This one, actually first one I ever tried. From Tuesday's 6PM till today's lunch, so two days and something. Few days before I started with dinner only.

I'd go easily longer, but that theatre and massaging everybody totally got me, I'm sore and stopped feeling good about it.

Now I feel very good about baconπŸ‘Œ

The first three days are the hardest.

If you're planning to go longer, I would recommend summer time. And yes, the longer, the more health benefits. Have a look at this awesome, handy app.

My goal is to take down at least 20 kilos and keep itπŸ‘€ I have some other app, but will check it out, thanks!

20kg? What's your relationship with sugar?

Boy, the number in the end of my post is my weightπŸ˜„ I'm that type in chips and sodas, bad habits since ever. I'm really avoiding sugars now.

Change soda for a tap water, chips for nuts. Avoid artificial sweeteners, they're not a solution.

The "healthy" sugar alternatives like honey, cane grass, Maple syrup... are as bad as sugar.

Fruit juices are out too. Eat the fruit instead. You can drink 10 apples within 1 minute, impossible to eat 10 apples, and get the same amount of sugar into your body, this fast.

Avoid alcohol, sweet coffee, dried fruit, and generally any processed food because there's definitely sugar in it. Keep checking ingrediences, you'll find sugar even in chorizo.

This looks like a lot, trust me, it's just a half of things you should avoid. I'm just being polite πŸ€™πŸ’œ

This guy is incredible. He's talking about fasting and also the elephant in the room - sugar. Really worth watching all his videos.

My husband is into this three years now, managed fasting for six days and exercises daily, so I have the book on sugars literally walking around.πŸ˜‚

Tbh I do all this a long time. I took now carbs allover under 20g a day and that's medicine, vegetables or cheese exclusively.

Now I took another step, which is one meal a day, strict keto without any more of them cheat days, no milk in coffee, no potatoes or rice etc.

I hate timing and measurements, so I go big or go home on this.

OMAD is a good approach, much easier switching to a fast.

Had to google it, but yesπŸ˜„ I'm more like 22:2, have two meals an hour apart - one portion makes me bit sick, so I split it.

I wonder about ketosis tho, when should it begin and how I'll feel it. So far now after wed, thu and sat in theatre I'm really exhausted and strained. I wonder if ketosis will help with sore muscles.

Really great, with the fruit juices you're also missing out on the fibre which slows down how quickly fructose is absorbed. Plus good microbes love living on fibre so you're robbing yourself of that.

Thanks for reminding me, I need to throw in more sour veggies, kimchi etc. I forgot about thoseπŸ˜…

It seems that you're being smart about it. Good job! πŸ₯³

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'm quite afraid to screw up, one week is like a first badge out of 100πŸ˜‘
