Cāmon man, this is nothing. Nothing more than an opportunity to buy. Bitcoin is doing what it does best, shake out the weak. Donāt look at 1 year, look at 5. We will see new highs, just have to stay commited.

I do believe that the cycle has changed, not completely but it has changed. My opinion is that the 4 year cycle was a manipulation of the whales that controlled most of the bitcoin. Unless the EFTs also enter that game, we should be so tied to them anymore.

I don't know what will happen in 2026, nobody knows. But I that if you care about the price, you are fucked anyway. Get the emotion away, just follow simple rules that are not dependent on external factor. If you don't plan any large purchase in the following 6 to 18 months, just chill, relax and stack regularly what you are willing to save.
If you plan a large purchase (relatively to your situation), just sell regularly until the date you need the money, to average out the cost.
In any cases, if you cannot afford to spend 2 to 4 times more BTC than today price, then you should not make that purchase, it means if you spend it now and price goes 4x up, you would feel like you lost 3/4 of your BTC for nothing, as you could have wait and spend only 1/4 of your BTC for the same thing. And same on the other direction, if you spend now and BTC price goes -75% down, you could have use that cash to buy back 4 times more BTC, but you cannot as you spend that money already.
Morality, just spend what you can really afford, whatever the price of BTC is, a BTC spend is a BTC lost, if you don't spend (as few as possible) you retain more value over time for getting free in the future.
Once you will spend sats whatever the price is without overthinking, you will reach the right Bitcoin mindset, pricing your life in BTC and ignoring the shitcoin fiat background noise.
I completely know what you mean. But I Tell you something, once Most people feel like it - and we are close to that - that will be the point of Turnaround. One spark and Bitcoin will light up. I am still confident we will see 150k+ until end of this year.

Price action this year is odd with as many tailwinds as we have.
My mentor would always tell me these 3 statements:
1) Price is fairly easy to manipulate on a day to day basis.
2) Price is harder to manipulating on a weakly basis and harder still for longer
3) Price discovery will always be more accurate when looking over the year.
These are all tools designed to cause traders to make various mistakes.

Idk, wouldn't surprise me if the etfs are producing paper bitcoin. Gold bugs have complained about that for decades at this point
I agree. Something feels off this cycle. My guess is because people know about the cycle the price rise was factored in early. Just a hypothesis.

Market price has so many variables that affect it, many of which aren't even related to Bitcoin and are more the overall economy, that it's not a very good metric to view the network by. Although even I attempt to do so as my previous posts of attempting to plot an overall trendline show lol. But really the hashrate and difficult keeps rising, as does the production cost, and those are the real metrics to pay attention to.
Since Jan 2023 the production cost has risen 550% from $20k to $110k today. That's about 5.15% growth per month averaged over 34 months. Granted, this includes a halving, but the next 34 months also includes a halving... We'll see what happens.
Consider setting a savings goal in btc and these dips become positive š
yes i cant reach my goals anymore because my fiat job pays only a few bucks left over. i should find a new job first.
