I just spent *way* more time looking up dyson spheres than I care to admit.

you can never spend too much time looking up dyson spheres

Since when are vacuums the shape of balls

It's a lot to take in

Imagine all the Bitcoin transaction fees you could scoop up with that energy, if we fork to a longer timechain propagation horizon!

F the miners

Best vaccum I've had, especially if you have pets.

Not for me, battery died and had to replace, i have a callus on my finger where the trigger guard rubs, and the power connection to the spinning head died. Fortunately I am now homeless and have no need for a vaccum.

😂

Every block is a Dyson shell around a quantum of entropy.

*way* is the appropriate amount of time.

spheres just break up. Hope you get to swarms before you begin construction 😉

What was the most interesting thing you took away from the research?

Not more than 30 minutes surely?

I first heard about them reading Abundance Through Scarcity

I was just telling my kids about them today. What a strange coincidence.

Ditto

they're hot

No shame, here.

Planning your bitcoin citadel?

the game?

So, I was thinking...how do we transmit the energy collected...well...I recall an article I read where we power eye implants with lasers from glasses we wear, instead of a battery..so ..just make bigger.

Fyi ..you are such a nerd. Glad to follow.

People look up concepts they know are too far out to feel better about their inaction. It is a fiat disease.

Would you like to know about some "sci-fi" technologies that are within reach in the space-time we presently inhabit?

Or… they are writing a sci fi novel. 😏
