Agreement doesn't mean anything if it turns out they were coerced into the plea, and knowing the crap they went through, I wouldn't be surprised if they agreed under duress.
Their legal council certainly wouldn't allow that. They aren't being held without a lawyer or visitationl, they are free on bail and have a team of lawyers. The please makes complete sense given the DoJ moving goalpost.
All pleas are coerced. There’s only one reason anyone takes a plea ideal— it’s because you are quite literally being threatened with violence and imprisonment by the government.
