i'm just glad that i have been able to stay off the radar... remote working is handy like that, but doing ecom and similar things is a real pain when you have to deal with the postal service and all that shit
honestly, i can never understand why people register businesses... it always just seems to me like every time i've done this that it's just been a huge waste of my time and in the end cost me more and gave no benefit, they never pay refunds, yet i have paid all kinds of sales taxes and shit on my supplies
this is partly why i want to migrate to Wyoming - no corporate tax at all... the fact that 2/3 of the population owns guns is also a nice feature

Long time ago! They paid farmers in the Azores not to produce milk for example! One between many! Central Europe remained the center of agricultural production so if you live there you almost don’t notice but they subsidized some countries to produce and others not to produce the same product! Does that even make any sense unless you want full control?

Yep. I once tried and gave up on this. Too much hassle for a one person company.
I could have been a reseller for orange pi sbc's...but EU said no.

Yep. I really can't remember the exact trifle that made it really hard for me. It was about 9 years ago and I switched to 3d printing instead, which was a good decision (though I had to make I forcefully), so I won't look back.
Most annoying was that the C'T magazine had a little article about me selling orange pi. After release of that magazine I was bombarded with request for orange pi's but I was not able to fulfill the requests. It could have been such a good start into self-employment.
Furthermore I already had a trustworthy and reliable agent in china that would handle everything on that side for me. Matter of fact I later introduced him in a company I worked for. He still is sourcing things for them.
I had a good contact to one of the sales reps at orange pi, and already sold about 100 devices.
Just then EU knocked on my door like: "Hello it's freedom. We prohibit you to import those devices".
Probably 2025 will be the year when many Bitcoin businesses and developers will vote with their feet. The EU has become an even worse joke than it was, so the simplest option is to look for greener pastures elsewhere.

2025 will probably be the year of an exodus from the EU, which has become an even worse joke than it was. Companies and developers will vote with their feet, in search of greener pastures. This is the simplest and most logical option in response to laws designed to put you under their total control. In the name of customer safety, in the name of the fight against terrorism, in the name of the fight against money laundering, our freedoms are being gradually removed.
