I wonder how many signatures have ever been collected on a single issue?

Interesting. A subject which went to a referendum, so a nationwide vote.

I wonder what will happen in this case

I very much doubt you’ll get half the country voting for digital ID

Thanks for the zap!

Yes I doubt there will be that many signatures on this one, maybe 2.5m? So many normies sucking up the digital ID narrative it’s unbelievable.

“It’s fine if you have nothing to hide”

“It’ll stop the immigrants”

“It will protect us”…

I’ve had that the govt is too

- benign

- busy with actual stuff that matters

- incompetent

🤦‍♂️

Roughly 20 million voters didn't vote for Starmer in the election, so there's that.

Good point! Plenty more signatures to come then

Who cares

Those of us who would prefer to stay in the country that we think of as our home. It’s alright for you if you’re watching from outside! We have friends and family that are going to suffer.

We are voting for/against that this weekend in Switzerland, every party are for it, it will be a tough battle. Cross your fingers for our soul!

We also vote for removing tax for home owner and tax deduction for morgage interest, this would favor the ones rich enough to pay back their morgage faster but would also relief housing market buying pressure by making high leverage mortgage less attractive, which could be good if it works but foreign money could continue to flood the market because of other fiat failling on them, so it's a risky bet.

Sounds good at first but effectively your subsidizing private home ownership and sales.

When a business builds a house it instantly enters a market where it is competing with private homeowners who are given huge discounts. Practically subsidies if you consider taxes unavoidable. When you do the numbers, it can be op to a 40% disadvantage.

It can be barely profitable at times.

If taxes were about funding government they would be efficient, like a simple 10% sales tax nothing else. That is the problem taxes are not for funding governments they are for manipulation.

And now the UK petition against Digital ID cards has surged to way over 1.5M signatures.

However, I think that nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7cnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uqzq2x2qxdh3dy5cfdfmgkkgkt44pgpcl5ekyfs9ewtuaywukflevkvug4au3 is right when he says that:

“To think this will be something you can petition away or try to negotiate is completely naive and missing the point. -- If people don't comply and adopt the digital ID they will lose their entitlements, pensions, child benefits etc. If you're employed for a company, you won't be able to get paid etc. Watch how quickly people will bend the knee if it means they can't feed their family or cash their welfare check.”

But some people will wake up. And this petition will play (a small) part in it. #UK #digitalid #petition #digitalidcard

When USA implemented digital id, not one single protest.

Y'all just rolled over and took it like a bitch.

Meanwhile in the rest of the world we are actually pushing back.

Americans wake the fuck up your president is a pedophile and your government is controlled by zionists
