We really need an app like Amber of nsec.app for iOS. Sure I’m not the first person to say it, but it is probably the most important thing missing for people stuck with Apple for whatever reason.

Sign on with Nostr would work too
The problem is some apps (primal comes to mind first) only provide “sign with nsec” option. Web interfaces allow login with extension, but as soon as you save them on your desktop (as a PWA), you can’t login with extension any more.
Oh, I see what you mean now. Anyone integrated this already? I think there was a list of which clients support which NIPs. Can’t find it 😣

Yeti! I’ve spoken with him about it. Not sure how the UX will be though, I think each event will need to be signed, unlike Amber or extension signers which you can approve for a category of events, improving the Ux.
imho Damus, Amethyst and Nostur should implement NIP-46 or some other login with nostr scheme. It makes sense that your daily driver is also a signer and allows you to use any nostr app. Nobody is going to install multiple apps to use nostr, it adds unnecessary friction. It's great to have the option for nerds but we gotta work in the #normielization

Yes but this is to use Nostur with another bunker. I think what nostr:npub107jk7htfv243u0x5ynn43scq9wrxtaasmrwwa8lfu2ydwag6cx2quqncxg means is that Nostur should be the bunker, this is not possible yet.

Would placing an nsec into the amber-like iOS app fall under the same sandboxing features that other Apple apps already implement?
Personally I think a more pressing issue is getting an nsecBunker running on Start9
but the problem is client side if no one gives the option, you can keycast on start 9 when it's ready, there is Umbrel in the roadmap, but we know that roadmaps are uphill roads
I’m actually about to self host nsec.bunker. This was more of a general public concern - Start9 and Umbrel are also “not too available” for the normies.
