Genx and Xennials have genZ kids... why haven't they let their kids have house parties? I dunno.. seems like they haven't had the time and money to go galvanting on vacations so their kids can have secret parties. I guess it is sad and a little odd.. We're too far into the 4th turning.. housing and culture have shifted

Iโm in the UK though, which is a failed state, so that could explain it.
As the host of many high school parties where there were no cell phones, I mourn for the youth. The lessons you learn during unsupervised intoxicated adolescence cannot be understated. Did people sometimes go to the hospital? Sure. But the satisfaction of answering the door at 11pm with a shirt-turban wrapped around your head flanked but two girls laughing their asses off and finding your best friend's disciplinarian father standing there...priceless.

I'm confused. If they know about house parties from watching 90s teen movies, then they know every house party starts with something like "Stacey's having a house party because her parents are going to France for 2 weeks." It's not like you ask for permission to have a house party.

We had insane parties, like well coordinated, multi high school ragers every weekend. Hundreds of people in random houses for years and years lol.
They all know theyโre constantly being recorded and will be put on blast to the entire world the second they do something remotely cringe.
None of them can ever actually let loose.
