Trying to make seed oil free granola bars for the kids.

It’s nearly impossible to find dried fruit that doesn’t contain canola oil.

Wife had the same problem. You can find it but it's trickier in bulk.

Might need to dehydrate yourself.

It's ridiculous. There are so few brands that don't contain gross seed oils. Siete is our go to for chips, tortillas, etc.

Their mexican chocolate cookies are fire too

I agree! And the almond flour tortillas.

I only had them once and i liked them, but then i started making them out of cauliflour and i like those better.

If anyone is interested, I basically use this recipe, but I make them tortilla size...

Thank you!

Organic Chocolate with soy oil

Shredded Parmesan with seed oil

It’s fucking crazy.

Yeah, it's rough out there. Their hooks are in everything and it's terrible for us.

It’s everywhere. Found an organic cereal for the kids without seed or soy oil and it was $8. (cereal is for dessert)

“Nourishing oils” like rapeseed, grape seed, sunflower, and many other poison.

Insane

Note: Do not dehydrate yourself, dehydrate the fruit.

Agree! Try the Bear Fruit rolls (we get them at Costco). It's just fruit.

I ran into the same problem trying to find dried fruit for my damn self.

I have a great granola recipe if you would like to try. It aren’t bars though, but it tastes great in yoghurt. Would need to translate it first if you would like it

Are you translating it from horse?

No, but if you hear it straight from the horse’s mouth you won’t understand it.

Food dehydrator is worth it - my wife makes all sorts of fruit leathers for the kids, no oils, no added sugar.

We have one, but trying to save some time.

We make all of our Jerky

Jerky is the super snack 🔥🍖🔥

Makes sense. Dehydrator isn’t exactly fast food

Yeah, grab yourself a dehydrator. They're pretty cheap and makes the dried fruit way more affordable too.

Get a dehydrator! Bloody love ours!

Did you update Grindr?

🤣

clown world, indeed 🫠😶

Eshh

dehydrator to the rescue!

💯….same reason I have bagged chicken unless I know the source. Most chicken is finished with feed that is loaded.

self-hosted dried fruits is the way

You should check out https://plant-baked.nyc. The guy who makes them is legit and works really hard to source ingredients.

Dehydrators are pretty cheap and you can use it for anything. They are amazing!

Try my secret recipe for seed-oil free granola bars:

- 5 lbs prime grade ribeye steak

- Grind it on fine

- Shape into granola bars

- Bake

Store in fridge for up to 7 days, and reheat before eating for best results.

Lol

Beefola

My wife makes our own granola. No bad ingredients and I think it tastes better too.

Rolled oats

7 Grain Cereal

Honey

Sliced almonds

Misc other tasty bits

Lay out on cookie sheet and bake in oven.

Biolomix 5 Tray Food Dehydrator Fruit Dryer Machine with Adjustable Temperature Timer for for drying fruit, vegetables, meat, turkey jerky, fish jerky, and any other homemade food https://amzn.eu/d/hZNe4VS

Build a dehydrator with an S9 and an old oven. Hashpower dried fruit to the rescue.

Amazing, is it not?

Hadleys is famous for CA dates but also has other seed oil free dried fruit like figs and apple rings https://hadleyfruitorchards.com/

Mm even at the health food store bulk section? We always used to find it there

Best way is using beef jerky as the fruit, and replacing the grains with a bit of nothing

Preach. But kids be kids

Gonna have to DIY it bubby.

"Oil Free Granola Bars MK1"

They write ingredients on dried fruit?

Dry it yo self mf

😂😂😂 they put oil in dried fruit? Wtf. ..

I knew i was onto something when i read that you should only buy food with one ingredient

Get a Dehydrator, and plant a few fruit tree's. My kids love picking fruits and slicing them up for the leather maker! Meat and fruit is really all we need.... OK maybe the odd bit of token veg. But mainly meat and fruits.

Wut. I've never seen it with anything but maybe some sugar.
