What do the locals think of how these names sound, and their meaning in Japanese?
Most important
I like the sound of japanostr. But you may choose a word other than Japan,Tokyo like nostramen (note1syucj2zwst24ujuhgsu5e7aup99kwlqxrwwzp0p6cg7nw4zs9qpkwt0q).
Nostrica is too perfect.
Zapan is still the best, imo.

GM! Of these, 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7 sound natural to me. If I had to choose one, I prefer 2.
Some people have suggested that the name of the event should not be changed from Nostrica, and I agree. It would be useful to identify the events in the future. How about "Nostrica Tokyo" or something similar?
People from Japan are getting up and coming up with lots of ideas. Some of the posts does not directly mention this thread, so they may not be easy to find.
I like Zapan, Nostokyo, Nipponstr, Japanostr, Nostraja.
Japanese users say that "doing nostr" as "nos-ru(ノスる)", so I think Nostokyo is good one.
And if "str" part of Nipponstr and Japanostr is pronounced as "star", it is sounds like "star of Japan", so I like them too.
